HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to
approve of the following appointments, promotions, transfers,
resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Military
Forces :—

THE ROYAL N.Z. ARTILLERY

Territorial Force—

Captain J. G. Hodge, 3rd Field Regiment, R.N.Z.A., is trans-
ferred to the Reserve of Officers, Regimental List, 4th Medium
Regiment, R.N.Z.A., with the rank of Captain, with seniority from
23rd October, 1946. Dated 22nd August, 1950.

Captain K. W. Paterson, M.C., 1st Heavy Mortar Battery,
R.N.Z.A., is transferred to the 3rd Field Regiment, R.N.Z.A., with
his present rank and seniority. Dated 15th June, 1950.

Captain K. W. Paterson, M.C., 3rd Field Regiment, R.N.Z.A.,
to be Major. Dated 15th June, 1950.

Lieutenant R. G. Bell, 3rd Field Regiment, R.N.Z.A., to be
Captain. Dated 3rd April, 1950.

Lieutenant L. T. Bradshaw, 3rd Field Regiment, R.N.Z.A., to
be Captain. Dated 3rd April, 1950.

Lieutenant C. H. Wilson, 6th Light Anti-aircraft Regiment,
R.N.Z.A., to be Captain. Dated 3rd April, 1950.

Lieutenant C. R. Mark, 6th Light Anti-aircraft Regiment,
R.N.Z.A., to be Captain. Dated 3rd April, 1950.

Temp. Lieutenant P. Webb, 1st Field Regiment, R.N.Z.A., is
transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, The Royal N.Z.
Artillery, with the rank of Lieutenant, with seniority from 4th May,
1945. Dated 9th August, 1950.

Lieutenant T. H. Baker, 10th Coast Regiment, R.N.Z.A., is
transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Regimental List, 10th Coast
Regiment, R.N.Z.A., with the rank of Lieutenant, with seniority
from 8th April, 1947. Dated 11th July, 1950.

Hon. Lieutenant H. Christensen, 1st Field Regiment, R.N.Z.A.,
resigns his commission. Dated 4th August, 1950.

Temp. 2nd Lieutenant H. M. Gray, 1st Field Regiment,
R.N.Z.A., is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, The
Royal N.Z. Artillery, with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, with seniority
from 16th January, 1944. Dated 6th July, 1950.

Temp. 2nd Lieutenant R. A. Rudge, 1st Field Regiment,
R.N.Z.A., is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List,
The Royal N.Z. Artillery, with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, with
seniority from 2nd December, 1944. Dated 20th June, 1950.

THE ROYAL N.Z. ENGINEERS

Territorial Force—

Lieutenant L. G. Taylor-Cannon, A.M.I.E.E., A.M.(N.Z.)I.E.,
2nd Field Squadron, R.N.Z.E., is transferred to the Reserve of
Officers, General List, The Royal N.Z. Engineers, with the rank of
Lieutenant, with seniority from 26th May, 1947. Dated 15th
August, 1950.

THE ROYAL N.Z. INFANTRY CORPS

Territorial Force—

The Wellington West Coast and Taranaki Regiment—

With reference to the notice published in the New Zealand
Gazette No. 51, dated 3rd August, 1950, relative to the promotion of
Captain (temp. Major) D. S. Thomson, M.C., 1st Battalion, to Major,
for “ Dated 1st June, 1950 ” substitute “ Dated 1st January, 1950.”

The Hawke’s Bay Regiment—

Warwick Edward Ball to be 2nd Lieutenant (on prob.) and is
seconded to the Dannevirke High School Cadets. Dated 28th July,
1950.

The Otago and Southland Regiment—

Temp., Lieutenant F. A. Charlton ceases to be seconded to the
King’s High School Cadets, Area 11, and is transferred to the
Reserve of Officers, General List, The Royal N.Z. Infantry Corps,
with the rank of Lieutenant, with seniority from 1st July, 1947.

THE ROYAL N.Z. ARMY SERVICE CORPS

Territorial Force—

Captain H. W. Boyce, from the Reserve of Officers, Regimental
List, The Royal N.Z. Army Service Corps, to be Captain, with
seniority from 19th November, 1947, and is posted to the 4th
Company, R.N.Z.A.S.C. Dated 26th July, 1950.

(non-medical), is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List,

Temp. 2nd Lieutenant E. W. Wyllie, 1st Field Ambulance,
R.N.Z.A.M.C. (non-medical), is transferred to the Reserve of Officers
General List, The Royal N.Z. Army Medical Corps, with the rank of

Appointment of Producer Member to the Honey Marketing Committee

PURSUANT to the Honey Marketing Committee Regulations
1948, notice has been received that the election of the Producer
member for appointment to the Honey Marketing Committee has
resulted in the following person, namely—

William Wallace Nelson

being eligible for appointment to the said Committee and I therefore
appoint

William Wallace Nelson

to be a Producer member of the Honey Marketing Committee estab-
lished under the said regulations.
