NOTICE OF CHANGE OF SURNAME

I, PETER MARIO NORRIS, of Great South Road, Tironui, in the Dominion of New Zealand, Clerk, heretofore called and known by the name of PETER MARIO NICACHI, hereby give public notice that on the 16th day of August, 1950, I formally and absolutely renounced and relinquished and abandoned the use of my said surname of NICACHI and then assumed and adopted and determined thenceforth on all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of NORRIS instead of the said name of NICACHI.

And I give further notice that by a Deed Poll dated the 16th day of August, 1950, duly executed and attested and filed in the Auckland Registry of the Supreme Court of New Zealand on the 17th day of August, 1950, I formally and absolutely renounced and abandoned the said surname of NICACHI and declared that I had assumed and adopted and intended thenceforth upon all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of NORRIS instead of NICACHI and so as to be at all times thereafter called known and described by the said name of NORRIS exclusively.

WAITARA BOROUGH COUNCIL

Notice of Intention to Take Land

NOTICE is hereby given that the Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Waitara proposes, under the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of pleasure-grounds or sports-grounds. All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of the said land and to send such writing within forty days from the 23rd day of August, 1950, being the date of the first publication of this notice, to the Waitara Borough Council, at its office in Queen Street, Waitara.

SCHEDULE

ONE rood (1 rood) more or less, being section six (6) of Block forty-six (46), Town of Waitara East, and being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 1, folio 104 (Taranaki Registry).

Notice of Final Winding-up Meeting of the Company and of Creditors

IN the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that, pursuant to section 241 of the said Act, a general meeting of the above-named company will be held at the office of Messrs. Bull and Edwards, Public Accountants, Union Bank Buildings, Gisborne, on Monday, the 18th day of September, 1950, at 10 a.m., for the purpose of receiving and considering the liquidator’s final statement of account, and of giving any explanation thereof which may be required : And notice is hereby further given that a meeting of creditors of the above company will be held at the office of Messrs. Bull and Edwards, Public Accountants, Union Bank Buildings, Gisborne, on Monday, the 18th day of September, 1950, at 11 a.m. for the purpose of receiving and considering the liquidator’s final statement of account, and of giving any explanation thereof which may be required, and for resolving pursuant to section 275 of the said Act, as to the disposal of the documents, books and accounts of the company.
