Additional Land at Marton Taken for the Purposes of the Foxton-New Plymouth Railway and for Street-diversions in Connection Therewith

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Foxton—New Plymouth Railway, and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street-diversions in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the South Island Main Trunk Railway (North End).

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 17·4 perches.

Being road adjoining or passing through Railway land.

Situated in Block IX, Mount Fyffe Survey District (Marlborough R.D.). (S.O. 3858.)

In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 129606, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, his 3rd day of August, 1950.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for post and telegraph purposes (postmaster's residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 14th day of August, 1950.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood.

Being Section 9, Block I, Town of Oban, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 68, folio 29 (Southland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of August, 1950.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an automatic-telephone exchange; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 14th day of August, 1950.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of the land taken: 5·9 perches.

Being part Section 17, Tautari Settlement.

Situated in Block X, Maungatautari Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 34546.)

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 132022, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of August, 1950.

Land Taken for Electricity Purposes and for Transport Purposes in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land first described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for electricity purposes and the land secondly described in the said Schedule is hereby taken for transport purposes, and that both areas of land shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 14th day of August, 1950.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken for electricity purposes: 20·37 perches.

Being part of land in D.P. 10559, being part Section 485, Town of Wellington; edged blue.

Approximate area of the piece of land taken for transport purposes: 3·75 perches.
