A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a gravel-pit and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Kairanga as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 14th day of August, 1950.
