MINIMUM SALARY FOR EMPLOYEES OF ADULT AGE

The amount in excess of scale salary necessary to bring remuneration up to the rate mentioned is granted by way of allowance. The allowance is reduced by the amount of annual increment until the salary reaches the minimum for employees of adult age, at which point the allowance ceases.

The following minimum rates of pay have been approved :-

MALE EMPLOYEES

£330 per annum at twenty-one years of age.

FEMALE EMPLOYEES

£255 per annum at twenty-one years of age.
