Land Taken for Better Utilization in City of Auckland

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 30 of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1945, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for better utilization; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 31st day of July, 1950.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 19·88 perches.

Being Lot 3, D.P. 19195, being part of Allotment 7, Section 9, Suburbs of Auckland, situated in the City of Auckland, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 912, folio 177 (Auckland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of July, 1950.

Land Taken for Soil-conservation and River-control Purposes in the Borough of Upper Hutt

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil-conservation and river-control purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 31st day of July, 1950.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 33·6 perches.

Situate in the Borough of Upper Hutt being part of Section 92, Hutt District, and being also Lots 9 and 10, D.P. No. 9797, being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 455, folio 131 (Wellington Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of July, 1950.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Richmond as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 31st day of July, 1950.
