A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 2 acres 1 rood 33 perches.

Situated in Block IV, Forest Hill Hundred (Southland R.D.). (S.O. 5841.)

In the Southland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 130638, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street off Great South Road, in the Borough of Papatoetoe, Subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of July, 1950

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1948, and section 125 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council doth hereby authorize the Papatoetoe Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto, at a width for part of its length of less than 66 feet but not less than 50 feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 131808, referred to in the said Schedule, within a distance of 48 feet from the centre-line of the said street.

SCHEDULE

THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Papatoetoe, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 20·9 perches, more or less, being part Lot 2, D.P. 35214, being part Allotment 39, Parish of Manurewa. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 131808, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of July, 1950

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1948, and section 125 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Wellington City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 feet but not less than 40 feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 131868, referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of 48 feet from the centre-line of the said street.

SCHEDULE

THAT proposed street in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, containing by admeasurement 32 perches, more or less, being part Lots 10 and 11, D.P. 1223, and being part Section 36, Karori District.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 131868, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Franklin County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.
