SCHEDULE showing all lands vested in the Public Trustee under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, Part II, Unclaimed Lands, subsequent to the list published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 39 of the 17th July, 1947, and during the triennial period subsequent thereto, and terminating on the 31st day of March, 1950, with the names of the person or persons believed by the Public Trustee to have any estate or interest therein.

Published in pursuance of section 85 of the said Act.

RETURN OF LAND VESTED IN THE PUBLIC TRUSTEE UNDER THE PUBLIC TRUST OFFICE ACT, 1908, PART II, UNCLAIMED LANDS, FOR THREE YEARS ENDED 31ST MARCH, 1950

THE following Schedule shows all land vested in the Public Trustee under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, Part II, Unclaimed Lands, during the triennial period terminating on the 31st day of March, 1950, with the names of the person or persons believed by the Public Trustee to have any estate or interest therein. This return is made in pursuance of Section 85 of the said Act.

Northern Portion of Allotment 74, Parish of Ruatangata, and being the whole of the land comprised in Crown Grant No. 5590B, and in certificate of title, Volume 559, folio 182, Auckland Registry A. R. P. 60 0 0 William Hammond 9th February, 1950.
Lots 21–32 of Section 5, Riverhead Town, situated in the Parish of Paremoremo and County of Eden, bounded on the north-west by Princes Street, 264 ft., on the north-east by Great North Road, 264 ft., on the south-east by Kaipara Portage Road, 264 ft., and on the south-west by Edwards Street, 264 ft., which said piece of land is part of the land comprised in Crown Grant No. 1599c, dated the 14th day of October, 1859, to one James Williamson, and in subsequent conveyances the last of which was registered as No. 29327, dated the 28th day of April, 1865, from John Sangster McFarlane to Michael Wood, of Auckland, Merchant 1 2 16 Michael Wood .. 15th September, 1949.
Situate in the Borough of Feilding, being part of subdivision A, Manchester Block, and Lot 502 on the plan deposited in the Lands Registry Office, at Wellington, as No. 19, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 5, folio 268, of the register-book of the said office 0 2 0 The Colonists Land and Loan Corporation, Ltd. 12th January, 1950.
Allotment 363, Block VII, of the Township of Normanby, bounded on the north by a public road (125 links), bounded on the west by Allotment 362 (200 links), bounded on the east by Allotment 364 (200 links), and bounded on the south by Allotment 366 (125 links), and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 2, folio 199, Taranaki Registry ; and also Allotment 136, Block XI, of the Township of Normanby, bounded on the north by Allotment 135 (200 links), bounded on the west by a public road (100 links), bounded on the east by Allotment 153 (100 links), and bounded on the south by Allotment 137 (200 links), and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 2, folio 199, Taranaki Registry 0 1 32 Elizabeth Allen .. 17th February, 1949.
Southern portion of Allotment 15, and northern portion of Allotment 16, of the Parish of Wairara, bounded on the north-east by other portion of Allotment 15 (3,690 links), bounded on the south-east by Allotment 21 (1,610 links), bounded on the south-west by other part of Allotment 16 (3,880 links), and bounded on the north-west by a road, and being all the land comprised firstly in a Crown Grant No. 2706B, dated the 9th day of September, 1865, to one Martin Kelly, of Manukau, Settler, and secondly to an unrecorded conveyance No. 241329, dated the 27th day of February, 1867, from the said Martin Kelly to one John Sheehan of Auckland, Articled Clerk, and also being land whereof Lily George and Katherine Groome are recorded in the valuation roll as the owners and occupiers 60 0 0 John Sheehan .. 11th August, 1949.
Situated in the Provincial District of Taranaki, being Section No. 9, Block XXXVII, of the Town of Opunake, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 13, folio 3, Taranaki Registry 0 1 0 John Fletcher .. 29th May, 1947.
Section 14, Block XII, on the map of the Town of Waihola, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 33, folio 53, of the register-book at Dunedin 0 0 39 John Reid .. 24th March, 1949.
Section 98 of the Town of Kaikoura, bounded on the north by a public road, bounded on the west by Section 96 (400 links), bounded on the east by Section 100 (325 links), and bounded on the south by a public road (140 links), and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 29, folio 52, Marlborough Registry 0 2 0 George Fyffe .. 24th February, 1949.
Eastern portion of Allotment 45 of the Parish of Oruru, in the County of Mangonui, bounded on the north and east by a public road ; on the south by Allotment 44 (1,370 links), and on the west by other portion of Allotment 45 (2,880 links), and by a public road (1,131 links), and being the whole of the land comprised in a Crown grant, dated the 4th day of May, 1864, the grantee whereof is Richard Samuel Fry Parsons 40 0 0 Richard Samuel Fry Parsons 5th August, 1948.
Situate in the Parish of Ruarangi, in the County of Marsden (now Whangarei), being part of Block IX, of the Tangahua Survey District, and being the north-eastern portion of Allotment 34 of the said parish ; bounded on the south-west by other portion of the said Allotment 34 (2,415 links), on the south-east by Allotment 33 (1,960 links), on the north-east by Allotment 35 (1,700 links), and on the north-west by a road 100 links wide (2,080 links), being the land comprised in an unregistered Crown grant to Robert Orr, of Auckland, Settler, excepting thereout the land taken for a public road by Proclamation No. 8539 38 2 0 Robert Orr .. 24th June, 1948.
Eastern portion of Allotment 93 of the Parish of Parahaki, Block IX, Whangarei Survey District, bounded on the north by Allotment 91 (462 links), bounded on the east by Allotment 92 (2,920 links), bounded on the south by a public road (558 links), and on the west by the western portion of Allotment 93 (2,607 links), and being part of the land described in an unregistered Crown grant dated the 15th day of February, 1892, the grantee whereof is George Miller, of Auckland, Settler 12 3 0 George Miller .. 16th October, 1947.
Part of the north-western portion of Allotment 98, of the Parish of Mangapai, and the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 590, folio 276, of the register-book at Auckland, the registered proprietor whereof is William Fleming, of Auckland, Labourer, the grantee under Crown Grant No. 2739B, dated the 17th day of October, 1865 8 3 12 William Fleming .. 29th April, 1948.
Town Allotment 490, Section 560 of Normanby Extension, Patea District, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 3, folio 251, of the register-book at New Plymouth 0 0 30 William Murray Thomson and Felix McGuire 15th April, 1948.
Part of Section 140, District of Hokonui, and being the balance of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 20, folio 266, of the register-book at Invercargill 35 3 0 N.Z. Agricultural Co., Ltd. 17th February, 1949.
