Waharoa Tribal Committee Area

All that area bounded by a line commencing at the intersection
of the southern boundary of Block XII, Aroha Survey District, with
the middle of the Waihou River; thence up the middle of that
river to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 30,
Block XIV, Wairere Survey District; thence south-westerly along
a right line to the junction of Gunns Road with Peria Road; thence
south-westerly along the middle of Peria Road to a point in line
with the south-western boundary of Section 113, Matamata Settlement; thence westerly along a right line to a point in the middle
of the Piakonui Stream in line with the south-western boundary of
Lot 4 as shown on the plan numbered 14276, deposited in the office
of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, being a point on the
boundary of the Ngati Werewere Tribal Committee Area, herein-
before described; thence north-easterly along the boundary of that
area to the point of commencement.

Tauhei Tribal Committee Area

All that area bounded by a line commencing at the confluence
of the Mangawara Stream with the Komakorau Stream; thence
proceeding north-easterly generally up the middle of the Mangawara
Stream to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 476,
Taupiri Parish; thence northerly to and along that boundary to its
northern end; thence easterly generally along the generally northern
boundaries of Sections 478 and 478A to the eastemmost corner of
the last-mentioned section; thence southerly along a right line to
the north-western corner of Section 1A 2, Hoe-o-Tainui South Block;
thence easterly along the northern boundaries of that section and
Section 1B 4; Hoe-o-Tainui South Block to Trig. Station 1993
(Hangawera), being a point on the boundary of the Ngati-Werewere
Tribal Committee Area, hereinbefore described; thence southerly
and south-westerly generally along the boundaries of that area to a
right line between the northernmost corner of Lot 4A on the plan
numbered 3916, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar
at Auckland, and the intersection of the southern boundary of
Block VI, Komakorau Survey District, with the middle of the
Komakorau Stream; thence north-westerly along the said right line
to the middle of the Komakorau Stream and down the middle of
that stream to its confluence with Mangawara Stream, the point of
commencement.

Okauiua Tribal Committee Area

All that area bounded by a line commencing at the confluence
of the Waihou River and the Wairere Stream; thence proceeding
up the middle of the Wairere Stream to its intersection with the
north-western boundary of Okauiua No. 1 Block; thence north-
easterly along that boundary to the northernmost corner of the said
Ohauia No. 1 Block; thence south-easterly along a right line to
Trig. Station 909 (Waianuanu) on the boundary of Block XVI,
Wairere Survey District; thence south-westerly along a right line
to Trig. Station 146 (Te Weraiti) on the eastern boundary of Block
VIII, Tapapa Survey District; thence south-easterly along a right
line in the direction of Trig. Station 27 (Puwhenua) on the eastern
corner of Block VII, Tapapa East Survey District, to its intersection
with the middle of the Matamata-Tauranga Main Highway; thence
south-westerly generally along the middle of that highway to and
along the middle of the Piarere-Kaimai Main Highway to its inter-
section with a right line between a point in the middle of the Manga-
papa River on the production of the south-western boundary of
Lot 2 on the plan numbered 25216, deposited in the office of the
District Land Registrar at Auckland, and Trig. Station M (Rangi-
tanuku) in Block XI, Tapapa Survey District; thence north-
westerly along the last-mentioned right line to the middle of the
Mangapapa River, being a point on the boundary of the Matamata
County as described in New Zealand Gazette of 1950 at page 275;
thence north-westerly along that county boundary to a point in
the middle of the Piakonui Stream in line with the south-western
boundary of Lot 4 as shown on the plan numbered 14276, deposited
as aforesaid, being a point on the boundary of the Waharoa Tribal
Committee Area, hereinbefore described; thence easterly and north-
easterly generally along the boundary of that area to the confluence
of the Waihou River and the Wairere Stream, the point of commence-
ment.

Special Arrangements for the Provision of Medical and Pharmaceutical
Services for the Residents of Chatham Islands Special Area

JACK THOMAS WATTS, Minister of Health, hereby notify
T, for general information that, pursuant to section 82 of the
Social Security Act, 1938, as amended by section 12 (1) of the
Social Security Amendment Act, 1941, and section 20 of the Social
Security Amendment Act, 1947, I have made special arrangements
by which all persons usually resident in the district described in
the Schedule hereto (hereinafter referred to as the said district)

are, on and after the 29th day of May, 1950, entitled to receive
without charge, at the hands of John William Gerald Gibbs, of
Chatham Islands, Registered Medical Practitioner, or such other
Registered Medical Practitioner as may be at any time appointed
for the purpose, all such medical and pharmaceutical requirements
as are provided as benefits in accordance with the Social Security
(Medical Benefits) Regulations 1941, the Social Security (General
Medical Services) Regulations 1941, and the Social Security (Pharma-
ceutical Supplies) Regulations 1941.

SCHEDULE

All that area in the Wellington Land District known as the Chatham
Islands.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit

has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to
be installed on garage and service-station premises, corner of Lees
and Le Ngae Roads, Whakatane.

S. M. Petersen, Ohope Beach, Whakatane, has applied for a
licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on
proposed service-station premises at Ohope Beach, Whakatane.

D. J. Holmes, 107 Devon Street, New Plymouth, has applied
for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed
on garage premises at 107 Devon Street, New Plymouth.

K. J. Percy, 35 Roberts Street, Masterton, has applied for
a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on
garage premises at 35 Roberts Street, Masterton.

I. W. Corden, corner of Beach Road and Sidemouth Street,
Mairangi Bay, Auckland, has applied for a licence to resell motor-
sprit from one pump to be installed on proposed garage premises
at Mairangi Bay, Auckland.

resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on store premises

Picton, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one
pump to be installed on the company's premises, corner Wellington
and Dublin Streets, Picton.

G. L. Martin, Ltd., Merchants and Carriers, Railway Yards,
Tokoroa, has applied for permission to take over from Carlton
Rugg, motor-spirits retail licence in respect of one pump installed
on premises in Logan Street, Tokoroa.

Surrey's Stores; Ltd., Main Road, Kaukapakapa, has applied
for permission to take over from A.O.D. Stores, Ltd., motor-spirits
retail licence in respect of one pump installed on premises, Main
Road, Kaukapakapa, and to shift the said retail selling-point to
another position in front of new store premises in the same road.

C. Clarke, Sandown Road, Rothesay Bay, Auckland, has
applied for permission to shift one pump from Sandown Road to a
new retail selling-point approximately ½ mile distant on Beach
Road, Rothesay Bay, and also to resell motor-spirit from two
additional pumps to be installed at the same new selling-point.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be
materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on
these applications should, not later than 27th July, 1950, submit
any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender.
All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of

Unclaimed Lands.-Notice by the Public Trustee Under the Public
Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its Amendments

To the owner of the following land, that is to say : All that parcel
of land containing 50 acres, more or less, being Allotment 507,
Parish of Te Papa, Tauranga County, being the whole of the
land described in an unregistered Crown Grant, to Joseph
Bartlett, Private of the Waikato Militia, and now comprised
in certificate of title, Volume 779, folio 286, Auckland Registry.

WHEREAS, after due inquiry, the owner of the above-described
land cannot be found : And whereas the said owner has no
known agent in New Zealand : Now, the Public Trustee hereby calls
upon such owner, within six months of the date of the publication of
this notice in this Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the
Public Trustee his title to the said land, and if he fails or neglects
so to do the Public Trustee will exercise as regards the said land
the powers and authorities granted to him in and by the Public
Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II); and its amendments.
