Notice of Final Meeting

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 232 of the Companies Act, 1933, that a general meeting of the above-named company will be held at the office of Teward, Mosedale and Co., National Bank Chambers, Featherston Street, Wellington C.1, on Friday, the 30th day of June, 1950, at 2 p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
———

In the matter of the Harbours Act, 1923, the Public Works Act, 1928, and the Acts amending the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Lyttelton Harbour Board, a body corporate under the Harbours Act, 1923, proposes to take, under the provisions of the Harbours Act, 1923, and the Public Works Act, 1928, for the purposes of the erection thereon (inter alia) of a waterfront industry building, all that piece of land situated in the Borough of Lyttelton containing one rood and seven-tenths of a perch (1 rood 0·7 perches), more or less, being Town Section 6 and part of Town Section 7 of the Town of Lyttelton, and all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 450, folio 288 (Canterbury Land Registry), as shown coloured yellow on a plan prepared by ELIOT ORTON SINCLAIR, of Christchurch, Registered Surveyor :

And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected shall, if they have any objection to the taking of such land or the erection of the said building thereon, set forth in writing such objection, and send such writing, within forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of such notice, being the 7th day of June, 1950, addressed to the Secretary, Lyttelton Harbour Board, Cathedral Square, Christchurch :

And notice is hereby further given that copies of the said plan showing the above-described land and the names of the owners and occupiers of such land, so far as they can be ascertained, are deposited in the offices of the Lyttelton Harbour Board at Cathedral Square, Christchurch, and at Norwich Quay, Lyttelton, where the same are open for public inspection during office hours.
