Maurice David Kilsby,
George William Were,
Harold Newsham Bayly, and
Herbert Olave Clarke
to be the Toko Domain Board, having control of the land described
in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the
16th day of June, 1950, at 8 o'clock p.m., as the time when,
and the Domain Pavilion, as the place where, the first meeting of
the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—TOKO DOMAIN
· ALL that area containing by admeasurement 7 acres 0 roods 32·7
perches, more or less, being part Section No. 36, Block III, Ngaire
Survey District: Bounded towards the north generally by other
part of Section No. 36, Block III, Ngaire Survey District, 1083·4
links; towards the south-east by railway reserve, 1451·6 links ; and
towards the west by a road and other part of Section No. 36 aforesaid,
1077 links : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
1/401A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Blackwater Domain

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 31st day of
May, 1950
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 44
of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Frederick Charles Miller,
Alexander John Didham,
Reginald Ernest Bannan,
Alfred Thomas Bannan, and
Henry Gardiner
to be the Blackwater Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Thursday,
the 6th day of July, 1950, at 2.30 o'clock p.m., as the time when,
and the Commercial-room of the Blackwater Hotel as the place
where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Setting Apart Maori Land as a Maori Reservation

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of
May, 1950
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section five of the Maori Purposes Act, 1937,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby set
apart and reserve the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule
hereto as a Maori reservation for the common use of the Ngaitai
Tribe as a marae.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of
May, 1950
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, doth hereby amend, as set forth in the
Schedule hereto, the Order in Council dated the 26th day of
September, 1945, and published in Gazette No. 62 of the 4th day
of the following month, at page 1230, licensing and permitting
the Tinopai Sawmills, Limited, to use and occupy a part of the
foreshore and land below low-water mark at Tinopai, Komiti Creek,
Otamatea River, Kaipara Harbour, as a site for the purpose of
storing timber thereon.
SCHEDULE
Clause 2 to the Schedule of the hereinbefore-recited Order in
Council dated the 26th day of September, 1945, as amended by
Order in Council dated the 14th day of April, 1948, and published
in Gazette No. 22 of the 22nd day of the same month, at page 428,
is revoked and the following clause substituted as from the 1st
day of April, 1950:-
“(2) The annual sum payable by the company shall be ten
shillings (10s.).”

Appointing Trustee for the Control of Part of the Foreshore at Karitane,
Waikouaiti River

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Whereas by Order in Council dated the 29th day of May,
1946, and published in Gazette No. 38 of the 6th day of
the following month, at page 765, Laurence Murray Fraser, John
Steven, and Oliff Edward Johnston were appointed trustees for
the fishermen of the district for the control of part of the foreshore
at Karitane, Waikouaiti River :
And whereas Laurence Murray Fraser has left the district,
and Colin Edwards was appointed to replace him, and whereas
John Steven has left the district and has resigned as trustee and
it is desirable to appoint some person to act with the trustees
already appointed:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred upon him by the Harbours Act, 1923,
and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf,
and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
James Robert Blair
to act with the said Colin Edwards and Oliff Edward Johnston
as trustees for the fishermen of the district for the control of the
said foreshore at Karitane, Waikouaiti River.

Whereas by Order in Council dated the 13th day of March,
1946, and published in Gazette No. 16 of the 21st day of
the same month, at page 348, the management of the jetty and
shed at Karitane, Waikouaiti River, was vested in Laurence Murray
Fraser, Oliff Edward Johnston, and John Steven as trustees for
the fisherman of the district:
And whereas Laurence Murray Fraser has left the district and
Colin Edwards was appointed to replace him, and whereas John
Steven has left the district and has resigned as trustee and it is
desirable to appoint some person to act with the trustees already
appointed:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
