Crown Land Set Apart for a Roadman's Cottage in the Borough of
Palmerston

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that
the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart
for a Roadman's Cottage ; and I do also declare that this Procla-
mation shall take effect on and after the 6th day of June, 1950.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart; 2 roods.
Being Sections 6 and 7.
Situated in Block XVII, Town of Palmerston (Borough of
Palmerston), (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 756Tn.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 131460, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged
red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of May, 1950.

Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Block XIII, Belmont

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 31st day of
May, 1950
Present :
His EXCELLENOY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms
portion of a reserve duly set apart for sanitary purposes,
and is vested, in trust, in the Petone Borough Council for such
purpose : And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the
reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for
recreation purposes, and the Petone Borough Council has consented
to such change of purpose :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by
subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose
of the portion of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby changed from a reserve for sanitary purposes to a reserve
for recreation purposes.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Borough of Petone, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 216 perches, more or less, being part
Section 24, Block XIII, Belmont Survey District. As the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 53345,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey
at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. 21883.)

P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
set apart for a drill-shed ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after 6th day of June, 1950.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart : 1 rood
298 perches.
Being Allotment 113 and part Allotment 319, being portions of
Section 1, Omaka District.
Situated in the Borough of Blenheim (Marlborough R.D.)

Recreation Reserve in Canterbury Land District Brought Under
Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 31st day of
May, 1950

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the
thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril
Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve
for recreation in the Canterbury Land District described in the
Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the
operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II
of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the
Waiau Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with
as a public domain by the Waiau Domain Board.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in Block XIII, Waiau Survey District,
containing by admeasurement 32 acres 3 roods 33 perches,
more or less, being Reserve 4585, formerly Lot 1 on a plan deposited
in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch under No. 4984,
being part of Sections 65 and 65x, Square 84, Amuri, and being all
the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 314 folio 32,
Canterbury Registry. As the same is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked L. and S. 1/60A, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
edged red.
