in Block XIII, Ngaere Survey District; thence northerly along Stuart Road to Eltham Road; thence easterly along Eltham Road to the Waingongoro River; thence northerly by the middle of the river to the Eltham County boundary as described in New Zealand Gazette of 1926, at page 2; thence easterly and southerly by the north and east boundaries of Eltham County to its intersection with the north-west boundary of the Ngarauru Tribal District as described in New Zealand Gazette of 1948, at page 1525; thence south-westerly by that boundary to the Whenuakura River on the south-east boundary of Hawera County, as described in the New Zealand Gazette of 1944, at page 1176; thence by the Hawera County boundary to Trig. Station A (Tarere); thence by a right line to the mouth of the Manawapou River; thence north-westerly along sea-coast to the mouth of the Waingongoro River, the point of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of April, 1950.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 47 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto now held for the development of water-power (Haywards Substation) is hereby set apart for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 6th day of June, 1950.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the estates held by Charles Andrew Sigvertsen, of Kaiwaka, Farmer, under and by virtue of leases under section 4 of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, recorded in the register book, H.B. Volume 40, folio 117, and H.B. Volume 98, folio 16, in the land described in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the purposes of a soil-conservation reserve; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 6th day of June, 1950.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to a drainage easement created by memorandum of transfer No. 109540 (Auckland Land Registry), for Post and Telegraph purposes (postmaster’s residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 6th day of June, 1950.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 roods 10·8 perches. Being Lots 109, 110, and 111, D.P. 11534, Town of Turua, being parts of the Blocks called Awakahawai No. 2, and Awakahawai No. 3, situated in Block III, Waihou Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 740, folio 93 (Auckland Land Registry).

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 21 perches. Being part of Section 37 of the Karori District, and being also Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 13446, being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 552, folio 28 (Wellington Land Registry).
