Pharmacy Industry
Donald George Croot, 6 Kitchener Road, Sandringham, Auckland S.W. 1, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at corner of Mount Albert Road and Owairaka Avenue, Auckland S.W. 1.
Francis William Page, 45 Awa Road, Wellington E. 4, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at 80 Rotherham Terrace, Miramar, Wellington E. 4.
Kenneth Graeme McLiver, 26 George Street, Auckland S.W. 1, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at 1093 New North Road, Avondale, Auckland.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
S. R. Blackwell and G. W. Murphy, corner of Main Road and Waitangi Road, Keri Keri, have applied for permission to move one petrol pump to the above site from its original position in Main Road, Keri Keri, and to install one additional pump on the same new site.
Applicants and others persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than June 8th, 1950, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

New Zealand Dairy Board Election, 1950.—Declaration of Result of Election in the Taranaki Ward
I, LEONARD IRWIN, Returning Officer appointed under section 19 of the Agriculture (Emergency Powers) Act, 1934, do hereby declare that John Sydney Hickey, of Opunake, Farmer, is the only candidate nominated for the election of a Taranaki Ward member of the New Zealand Dairy Board, the nominations whereof closed at noon on the 17th day of May, 1950.
I therefore declare the said John Sydney Hickey to be duly elected.
