PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of May, 1950
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Papatoetoe Borough Council to lay-off the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft.

SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street off Great South Road, in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Papatoetoe, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 10.5 perches, more or less, being part Lot 16, D.P. 4493, being part Allotment 37, Manurewa Parish. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 131527, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PRESENT :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the portion of road declared to be Government road : 1 acre 3 roods. Adjoining or passing through Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 23346, being part Allotment 64, Tahawai Parish.

Situated in Block V, Katikati Survey District (Auckland R.D.).
