LYTTELTON HARBOUR BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Harbours Act, 1923, the Public Works Act, 1928, and the Acts amending the same.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Lyttelton Harbour Board, a body corporate under the Harbours Act, 1923, proposes to take, under the provisions of the Harbours Act, 1923, and the Public Works Act, 1928, for the purposes of the erection thereon (inter alia) of a waterfront industry building—
Firstly, all that piece of land situated in the Borough of Lyttelton, containing thirteen perches and one-tenth of a perch (13·1 p.), more or less, being part of Town Section 7 of the Town of Lyttelton, and all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 29, folio 260 (Canterbury Land Registry), as shown coloured orange on a plan prepared by ELIOT ORTON SINCLAIR, of Christchurch, Registered Surveyor.
Secondly, all that piece of land situated in the Borough of Lyttelton containing three perches and two-tenths of a perch (3·2 p.), more or less, being part of Town Section 7 of the Town of Lyttelton, by measurement 9·84 links along the north boundary, 204·79 links along the west boundary, 9·84 links along the south boundary, and 204·79 links along the east boundary, as shown coloured sepia on the said plan, and being part of the land comprised in a deed of settlement dated the 14th July, 1851, whereby such land was vested in JAMES WATKINS and JOHN SHARP, both of Nelson, as Trustees for the benefit of CONSTANCE WAKEFIELD, MURAT WAKEFIELD, SALVATOR WAKEFIELD, ARISTO WAKEFIELD, PRISCILLA WAKEFIELD, JOSEPHINE WAKEFIELD, OLIVER WAKEFIELD, EDWARD WAKEFIELD, and PERCY WAKEFIELD, children of FELIX WAKEFIELD, of Woodhatch, near Reigate, Surrey, England, the share of the said ARISTO WAKEFIELD, deceased, being subsequently assigned to JOHN SHARP, Registrar of the Supreme Court, and THOMAS BRUNNER, Surveyor, both of Nelson, and the share of the said PERCY WAKEFIELD being subsequently assigned to JOHN SHARP and FRANCIS HENRY PICKERING, both of Nelson, Merchants :
And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected shall, if they have any objection to the taking of such lands or the erection of the said building thereon, set forth in writing such objection and send such writing, within forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of such notice, being the 15th day of May, 1950, addressed to the Secretary, Lyttelton Harbour Board, Cathedral Square, Christchurch ; and notice is hereby further given that copies of the said plan showing the above-described lands and the names of the owners and occupiers of such lands, so far as they can be ascertained, are deposited at the offices of the Lyttelton Harbour Board at Cathedral Square, Christchurch, and at Norwich Quay, Lyttelton, where the same are open for public inspection during office hours.

Notice of Voluntary Winding-up Resolution
PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given of the following extraordinary resolution (under section 300 of the Companies Act, 1933) which was passed on 5th May, 1950 :—
“ 1. That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up ; and
“ 2. That Mr. G. J. J. FEIL, of the City of Wellington, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of winding-up.”
Notice to Creditors to Prove
THE liquidator of RECREATIONAL INNOVATIONS, LTD., which is being wound up voluntarily, doth hereby fix the 15th June, 1950, as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.
