Power Streets) in the Borough of Levin

At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of
May, 1950
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amend-
ment Act, 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Levin
Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed streets
(Wilton Street and Power Street Extensions) described in the
Schedule hereto at a width for the whole of their lengths of less
than 66 ft. but not less than 50 ft.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street (extension of Wilton Street) in the Wellington
Land District, Borough of Levin, containing by admeasurement
27·3 perches, more or less, being part Section 53, Levin Village
Settlement, Block I, Waiopehu Survey District.
Also all that proposed street (extension of Power Street) in
the said land district and borough containing by admeasurement
27·3 perches, more or less, being part Section 53, Levin Village
Settlement, Block I, Waiopehu Survey District.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 131297, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works
at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

of Parkhill Street, in the Town District of Howick, Subject to
a Condition as to the Building-line

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of
May, 1950

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amend-
ment Act, 1948, and section 125 of the Public Works Act,
1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Howick Town Board
to permit the laying-off of the proposed street first described in
the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than
66 feet but not less than 50 feet, and of the proposed street
secondly described in the Schedule hereto at a width for the whole
of its length of less than 66 feet but not less than 50 feet subject
to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any
time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan referred
to in the said Schedule within a distance of 48 feet from the
centre-lines of the said streets.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Town
District of Howick, to be known as Glenfern Street, containing
by admeasurement 1 acre 30·5 perches, more or less, being part
of Allotment 5, Section 9, Small Farms near Howick.
Also that proposed street in the said land district and town
district, being an extension of Parkhill Street, containing by
admeasurement 1 rood 11·8 perches, more or less, being part of
Allotment 5, Section 9, Small Farms near Howick.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 131134, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works
at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928, and to section
twenty-nine of the Rabbit Nuisance Amendment Act, 1947,
His Excellency the Governor-General, at the request of the Minister
of Agriculture, made on the recommendation of the Rabbit Destruc-
tion Council, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, doth hereby constitute and declare the area of
land, the boundaries of which are described in the Schedule hereto,
being an area to which subsection one of section thirty of the Rabbit
Nuisance Act, 1928, applies, a rabbit district, and doth appoint that
the name of the said rabbit district shall be the Blackstone Rabbit
District, and doth order that the basis on which the Rabbit Board
to be established for the said district shall first levy its general
rate shall be the acreage of land occupied by the ratepayer.

BOUNDARIES OF THE BLACKSTONE RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Otago Land District containing 105,600 acres,
more or less, being parts of Blackstone, Lauder, Idaburn, St. Bathans,
Tiger Hill, and Turnagain Survey Districts, and bounded as follows:
Commencing at the junction of Johnstone’s Stream with the Manu-
herikia River, St. Bathans Survey District; thence south-easterly
up Johnstone’s Stream to the north-western boundary of Run 227c,
Turnagain Survey District; thence north-easterly along that
boundary to the boundary of the Maniototo and Waitaki Counties;
thence generally south-easterly along the said County boundary to
Mount Ida; thence generally south-westerly along the south-eastern
boundary of Run 227d, to the Palmerston-Clyde Main Highway
No. 124; thence north-westerly along that highway to its junction
with the Omakau-Wedderburn Main Highway No. 227 at Trig. B,
Idaburn Survey District; thence generally south-westerly along
the last-mentioned highway to Boundary Road on the south-
western boundary of Blackstone Survey District; thence north-
westerly along Boundary Road to the Poolburn-Auripo Road;
thence south-westerly along that road to the boundary of the Tiger
Hill Survey District; thence north-westerly, south-westerly, and
north-westerly along the aforesaid boundary to the north-eastern
corner of part Section 4, Block XIV, aforesaid district; thence
southerly along the eastern boundary of part Section 4, aforesaid,
to the north-eastern boundary of Run 220E; thence south-easterly
along that boundary and generally westerly along the southern
boundaries of Runs 220E and 220F to the western boundary of
Run 220F; thence northerly along that boundary to a public road;
thence generally westerly along that road to the south-western corner
of Section 12, Block XIX, Tiger Hill Survey District; thence north-
easterly along the north-western boundary of Section 12 to the
south-western boundary of Run 244J; thence south-easterly, north-
easterly, north-westerly, and south-westerly along the south-western,
south-eastern, north-eastern, and north-western boundaries of
Run 244J to the southern corner of Run 244L; thence north-westerly
along the south-western boundary of Run 244L to the centre of the
Manuherikia River; thence generally north-easterly up the Manu-
herikia River to a point in line with the southern boundary of
Block II, Tiger Hill Survey District; thence easterly to and along
the said boundary, to and northerly along the eastern boundary
of Block II to the middle of the main stream of the Manuherikia
River; thence generally north-easterly up the Manuherikia River
to the point of commencement.
