Land Subject to the Housing Act, 1919, Declared Crown Land Available for Reservation Under the Land Act, 1948

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by subsection one of section eight of the Housing Amendment Act, 1946, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act, 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act, 1948.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in the City of Christchurch containing by admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood 25 perches, more or less, being Reserve 4574, also described as part Lot 1 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch under No. 12017, being part Rural Section 87, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 474, folio 179 (Canterbury Registry).
Also all that area situated in the City of Christchurch containing by admeasurement 28ยท3 perches, more or less, being Reserve 4575, also described as part Lot 1 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch under No. 12017, being part Rural Section 87, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 474, folio 179 (Canterbury Registry).
As the same are more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 30/228/3F, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. 8161.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of May, 1950.

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act, 1948

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by subsection two of section nineteen of the Forests Act, 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of a provisional State Forest reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the eighth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land, and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act, 1948.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Rotorua County situated in Block XV, Rotorua Survey District, containing by admeasurement 284 acres 1 rood 20 perches, more or less, being Okoheriki part 1D 6A Block. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/92/14B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (South Auckland S.O. Plan 34694.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion this 8th day of May, 1950.
