At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of
April, 1950
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the additional land
described in the Schedule hereto being taken for a public school.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land permitted to
be taken: 2 roods 9·1 perches.
Being Lots 33 and 34, D.P. 15800 (Town of Oneroa Extension
No. 10), being portion Allotment 263, Takapuna Parish, Block IV,
Waitemata Survey District, and being the balance of the land
comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 681,
folio 257 (Auckland Land Registry).

of West Harbour

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the
Schedule hereto being taken for workers' dwellings.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken: 1 acre.
Being Lots 1, 2, 17, and 18 Block VI, D.P. 28, and being part Sections
56 and 57, Block IX, North Harbour and Blueskin District, and

PURSUANT to the powers vested in him by section 6 of the
Housing Amendment Act, 1940, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby order and declare that the access-way described in
the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in
Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the
Borough of Onehunga and be under the control and management
of the Onehunga Borough Council.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the access-way dealt with: 9·6 perches.
Being part of the land on D.P. 4468, being part Allotments 20 and
20A, Small Lots near Onehunga.

Consenting to the Borrowing of Moneys by the Levin Borough Council
by Way of Bank Overdraft

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of
April, 1950
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the Levin Borough Council (hereinafter called the
said local authority) being desirous of borrowing the sum of
six thousand pounds (£6,000) by way of bank overdraft by a loan to
be known as "Playford Park Subdivision Loan, 1950" (hereinafter
called the said loan), for the purpose of meeting the cost of sub-
dividing land and providing roads in connection therewith, has
complied with the provisions of the Local Government Loans Board
Act, 1926 (hereinafter called the said Act), and it is expedient that
the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council, as required
by the said Act, should be given to the borrowing as aforesaid:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance
and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by
section eleven of the said Act, as set out in section twenty-nine of the
Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities
enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the borrowing
of moneys by the said local authority for the said purpose up to the
amount of six thousand pounds (£6,000) by way of bank overdraft,
and in giving such consent doth hereby determine as follows:-
(1) Such borrowing may be from time to time by way of bank
overdraft.
(2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the
said loan or any part thereof shall not exceed current bank overdraft
rates to best customers.
(3) The said loan shall be repaid from revenue not later than
the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and
fifty-one.
(4) No amount payable as interest in respect of the said loan
shall be paid out of loan-moneys.

Consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £5,730 by the Levin Borough
Council and Prescribing the Conditions Thereof

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of
April, 1950
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the Levin Borough Council (hereinafter called the
said local authority) proposes, pursuant to the terms of
a requisition issued under section twenty-two of the Health Act,
1920, to raise a loan of five thousand seven hundred and thirty
pounds (£5,730), to be known as "Waterworks Loan, 1950" (here-
inafter called the said loan), to provide waterworks for the improve-
ment of the water-supply of the Borough of Levin, being the
installation of a new pump, a new meter, and alterations to the
intake of the present water-supply system:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on
him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act,
1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932
(No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in
this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising in New Zealand by
the said local authority of the said loan for the said purpose up to
the amount of five thousand seven hundred and thirty pounds
(£5,730), and in giving such consent doth hereby determine as
follows :-
(1) The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may
be raised shall not exceed fifteen (15) years.
(2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said
loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the
lender or lenders a rate or rates exceeding three pounds five shillings
(£3 5s.) per centum per annum.
(3) The said loan or any part thereof, together with interest
thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly
instalments extending over the term as determined in (1) above.
(4) The payment of such instalments shall be made in New
Zealand, and no instalments shall be paid out of loan-moneys.
(5) The rate payable for brokerage, underwriting, and procur-
ation fees in respect of the raising of the said loan or any part thereof
shall not in the aggregate exceed one-half per centum of any amount
raised.
(6) No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after the
expiration of two years from the date hereof.
