Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject
to the Land Act, 1948

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by subsection two of section nineteen of the Forests
Act, 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the
joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister
of Forests, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto, being portion of a provisional State forest
reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the seventh day of October,
one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and gazetted on the ninth
day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in
accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall,
from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be pro-
visional State forest land, and shall become Crown land available
for sale, lease, reservation, or other dispositions under the pro-
visions of the Land Act, 1948.
SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 390 acres, more or less,
being Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1735, and being Sections
3593, 3597, and part Section 2882, Block II, Brunner Survey District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of April, 1950.

twelfth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes ;
and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land

provisional State forest land, and shall become Crown land available
for sale, lease, reservation, or other dispositions under the provisions
of the Land Act, 1948.

SECTIONS 59 and 60, Block VII, Woodlands Survey District : Area,
284 acres, more or less. (S.O. 8834.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of April, 1950.

Crown Land Set Apart for a Drill-shed in the Borough of Dargaville

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby set apart for a drill-shed; and I do also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 1st day of May,
1950.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of Crown land set apart :—
A. R. P. Being
0 0 30·84 Part land in Proclamation 12725, being formerly
Railway land in Proclamation 11788 ; coloured
green, edged green.
0 0 0·72 Part land in Proclamation 12725, being formerly
Railway land in Proclamation 11788 ; coloured
orange.
Situated in Block XV, Kaihu Survey District (Borough of
Dargaville), (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 33831.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 130981,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of April, 1950.
