Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work, and Not Required for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 1 acre 1 rood 10·8 perches.
Being part Lot 7, D.P. 16955, being part Block 29 of Church Mission Reserve, Section 2, Town of Tauranga, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 652, folio 55 (Auckland Land Registry).
Situated in the Borough of Tauranga.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of April, 1950.

Additional Land Taken for a Technical School in the City of Timaru

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a technical school; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 1st day of May, 1950.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 26·4 perches.
Being Lot 467, D.P. 1, being part Rural Section 7555, City of Timaru, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 336, folio 294 (Canterbury Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of April, 1950.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 1st day of May, 1950.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 2 roods 9·1 perches.
Being Lots 33 and 34, D.P. 15800 (Town of Oneroa Extension No. 10), being portion Allotment 263, Takapuna Parish, Block IV, Waitemata Survey District, and being the balance of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 681, folio 257 (Auckland Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of April, 1950.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Hawke’s Bay as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 1st day of May, 1950.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 2 acres 0 roods 38·2 perches.
Being part Suburban Section 67.
Situated in the Borough of Dannevirke (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2404.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 131054, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.
