in westerly, northerly, and easterly directions generally along the
said boundary to its intersection with the south-western boundary
of Section 5, Block VI, Inangahua Survey District; thence along the
aforesaid south-western boundary of the said Section 5 to the point
where it intersects the northern and southern line of the eastern
boundary of Block V, Inangahua Survey District; thence southerly
along the eastern boundaries of Blocks V and IX, Inangahua Survey
District, to, around, and including Section 25, Block IX aforesaid;
thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of Blocks IX and XIII,
Inangahua Survey District, Blocks III, VII, XI, and XV, Reefton
Survey District, and Block III, Waitahu Survey District, to the
south-eastern corner of Block III aforesaid; thence westerly along
the southern boundaries of Blocks III and II, Waitahu Survey
District, to the south-western corner of the said Block II; thence
southerly generally by the line forming the eastern boundary of
Blocks V, IX, and XIII, Waitahu Survey District, and Block I,
Pohaturoa Survey District, to the point of commencement. As the
same is more particularly delineated on the plans marked P.W.D.
89830, P.W.D. 107577, and P.W.D. 122810, deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Schedule hereto.

THIRD SCHEDULE
BULLER ELECTRIC-POWER DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District comprising the Borough of
Westport and part of the County of Buller, bounded by a line com-
mencing at a point on the Tasman Sea coast being the south-western
corner of Section 15, Block V, Brighton Survey District, and pro-
ceeding in an easterly direction along the southern boundaries of
Blocks V, VI, VII, and VIII, Brighton Survey District, to the
boundary of the Buller County as at present constituted; thence
generally northerly, westerly, and southerly along the boundary
of the Buller County as at present constituted, the seaward boundary
of the Borough of Westport, and the boundary of the Buller County
again, to the point of commencement. As the same is more particu-
larly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 53949, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon bordered
red, but excepting thereout the area described in the First Schedule
hereto.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of March, 1950.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 29th day of
March, 1950
Present :
THE HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by section thirty-one of the Rabbit Nuisance Act,
1928, it is enacted that the Governor-General, at the request
of the Board of any rabbit district, may, by Order in Council, alter
and redefine the boundaries of its district :
And whereas the district known as the Ararimu Rabbit Dis-
trict has been constituted under and for the purposes of the said
Act :
And whereas the Board of the said district has, pursuant to the
said section thirty-one of the said Act, requested that the boundaries
of its district be altered and redefined by including an additional
area therein :
And whereas the consent of a majority of the persons in such
additional area qualified to be enrolled on the ratepayers list for the
said district has been given to the inclusion of such additional area
in the said district :
And whereas it is deemed expedient to alter and redefine the
boundaries of the said district accordingly :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, doth hereby—
(1) Alter and redefine the boundaries of the said district so
constituted as aforesaid :
(2) Declare that the boundaries of the said district shall be those
set forth in the Schedule hereto ; and, further,
(3) Declare that this Order in Council shall come into force
on the day following publication hereof in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE ARARIMU RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area of approximately 45,000 acres in the Franklin County,
bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block V, Opaheke
Survey District, being the north-eastern corner of Lot 1 on D.P.
21743, being part Allotment 156, Opaheke Parish, and running
easterly generally along the southern boundary of Allotment 191,
the southern end of a public road, the southern boundaries of
Allotments 202, 209, W.210, M.210, E.210, 211, W.212, and N.E.212,
all of Hunua Parish, and a right line, being the production of the
last-mentioned boundary, to the middle of the Mangawheau Stream ;
thence down the middle of that stream to and up the middle of the
Wairoa River to a point due west of the south-eastern corner of
Allotment 43, Otau Parish ; thence along a right line due west from
the last-mentioned point to the eastern side of a public road and
southerly along the said eastern side and its production across
another public road to the northern boundary of part Allotment 10
of the said Otau Parish ; thence again easterly along the southern
side of the road forming the northern boundaries of the said part
Allotment 10 and parts Allotments 10 and 10D on D.P. 24373,
and parts Allotments 10, 33B, 33, and 71 on D.P. 26340, of the
said Otau Parish to its junction with another public road ; thence
southerly generally along the western side of the public road
forming the eastern boundaries of part Allotment 71 on D.P. 26340,
part Allotment 71 on D.P. 3411, part Allotment 69, parts Allotments
69 and 81A on D.P. 25515, the eastern boundary generally of Lots 2
on D.P. 14819, being part Allotments 81A, 11, and 12, and the
eastern boundary of Allotment 13, the aforesaid allotments being
of the said Otau Parish ; thence westerly generally along the
southern boundary of the aforesaid Allotment 13, and a right line
across a public road to the angle in the south-eastern boundary
of Lot 11 on D.P. 7824 ; thence along the south-eastern boundary
of the said Lot 11, the south-eastern and southern boundaries of
Lots 1 and 2 on D.P. 17702, the aforesaid lots being parts of Allot-
ments 134 and 136, Opaheke Parish, to and along the north-western
boundary of a road reserve intersecting part Allotment 136 on
D.P. 11306 to a public road ; thence along the northern side of
that road to its intersection with a tributary of the Paraureroa
Stream, which forms the western boundary of Allotment 91, and
the northern boundaries of Allotments 238, 239, and 125 of Mangata-
whiri Parish ; thence down the said tributary and down the Parau-
eroa Stream to the northern side of the Pokeno–Paeroa Main High-
way ; thence westerly generally along the said northern side to the
eastern side of the Great South Road ; thence southerly generally
down the said eastern side, to and along the generally eastern side
of the North Island Main Trunk Railway, to and down the right
bank of the Mangatawhiri River, and down the right bank of the
Waikato River to the easternmost corner of Lot 2 on D.P. 13469,
being part of Allotment 30, Tuakau Parish ; thence northerly
generally along the eastern boundaries of Lot 2 aforesaid and Lot 1
on D.P. 13469 aforesaid, being parts of the said Allotment 30, along
a right line across a public road, to and along the eastern boundary
of Lot 1 on D.P. 26117, being part of Allotment 29, Parish of Tuakau
aforesaid, and along the eastern boundary of another part Allotment
29 aforesaid to the southern side of the Whangarata Road ; thence
along the southern side of that road to a point in line with that
portion of the Tuakau–Pokeno Main Highway which forms the
eastern boundary of Lot 2 on D.P. 13796, being part N.W.15,
Tuakau Parish ; thence along a right line, to and along the western
side of the said portion of the Tuakau–Pokeno Main Highway to
the southern boundary of the Tuakau Town District as described in
New Zealand Gazette No. 60 of the 25th day of June, 1914, page 2517 ;
thence along the southern, western, and northern boundaries of the
said Tuakau Town District and along a right line, being the last-
mentioned boundary produced to the middle of Tuakau Road ;
thence again northerly generally along the middle of that road,
to and along the middle of Harrisville Road, to and along the
middle of Pukekohe East Road, to and along the middle of Jericho
Road, to and along the middle of the road forming the western
boundary of Lot 3 on D.P. 29079, being part Allotments 27 and
27A, Pukekohe Parish, and along the middle of the Pukekohe–Bombay
Main Highway to the eastern side of the Great South Road ; thence
again northerly generally along the said eastern side to the north-
western corner of Lot 2 on D.P. 26513, and part Allotment 6 of the
said Mangatawhiri Parish ; thence easterly generally along the
northern boundary of the said Allotment 6, to and along a public
road to an angle in the eastern boundary of the aforesaid Allotment 6,
along a right line across the said public road to the north-western
corner of the Bombay Post-office site, being part Allotment 13 of
the said Mangatawhiri Parish ; thence along the southern side of
the road intersecting the said Allotment 13, and forming the northern
boundary of Allotment 152 of the said Mangatawhiri Parish, and
a right line being the production of the said roadside, across another
public road to its eastern side ; thence again northerly generally
along the eastern side of the said road, to and along the north-
western side of a public road forming the south-eastern boundaries
of Allotment 157, 126, Suburban Section 3, Opaheke Parish, to and
along the south-eastern and eastern boundaries of Allotment 163
of the said Opaheke Parish, and a right line across a public road
to the western corner of Allotment 164 ; thence along the eastern
side of a public road, forming the western boundary of the said
Allotment 164 and Allotment 211 of the said parish, Allotments 173,
194, Suburban Section 2 of the said parish, and the production of
the last-mentioned boundary across a public road to the southern
boundary of Allotment 133 of the said Suburban Section 2 ; thence
along the southern boundary of that allotment and the south-
eastern and south-western boundaries of Allotment 134, Suburban
Section 2 aforesaid, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to
the middle of Whisky Creek ; thence up the middle of that creek
to the western boundary of Allotment 157, Opaheke Parish, along
the eastern and south-eastern sides of public roads forming the
western and north-western boundaries of the said Allotment 157
to a point, being the production southward of the eastern boundary
of part Lot 4 on D.P. 21743 ; thence along a right line across the
said road, to and along the eastern boundaries of the said part Lot 4
and Lots 2 and 1 on the said D.P. 21743, being parts of Allotment 156
of the said Opaheke Parish, to the point of commencement.
