TAURANGA ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION LEVYING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Tauranga Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of the principal and interest and other charges in respect of the Tauranga Electric-power Board Electrical Extension Loan, 1949, of £80,000, authorized to be raised by the Tauranga Electric-power Board by special order under section 15 of the Finance Act, 1936 (No. 2), for the purpose of further reticulating the Board’s district, the Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of nine-tenths of a penny (¹⁰⁄₉d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Tauranga Electric-power Board District ; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable annually on the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
We hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a minute of the proceedings of the Board held on the 15th day of February, 1950

MASTERTON COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public Works Act, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Masterton County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the improvement of a public road, being Kibblewhite Road—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the County Clerk to the said Council, situate at Chapel Street, Masterton, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County Council Chambers, Chapel Street, Masterton.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Tauraroa Bridges Loan, 1949, £1,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Otorohanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorized to be raised by the Otorohanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act for erecting four bridges on the Tauraroa Valley Road, the said Otorohanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence farthing (2¹⁄₄d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the special rating area, being all that land in the South Auckland District commencing at the northern corner of Section 13, Block XII, Mangaorongo Survey District; thence along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 13 to the north-western corner of Section 12, Block IX, Wharepapa Survey District; thence along the northern boundary of the said Section 12 to a public road; thence across that road in a right line; thence along the public road in a southerly direction generally to the north-western corner of Section 20, Block IX, Wharepapa Survey District; thence along the northern boundary of the said Section 20 to its junction with the Mangatutu River; thence in a southerly direction generally along the western bank of the Mangatutu River to the south-eastern corner of the eastern part of Rangitoto Section 27B, Block XIII, Wharepapa Survey District; thence along the southern boundary of the said Section 27B to a public road; thence across the public road by a right line; thence in a southerly direction generally along the public road to the eastern corner of the western part of Rangitoto A No. 27B; thence along the south-eastern and western boundaries of the said Rangitoto A No. 27B to the south-eastern corner of Section 6, Block XVI, Mangaorongo Survey District; thence along the southern boundaries of Sections 6, 5, 4, and 3 of Block XVI, Mangaorongo Survey District, to the south-western corner of the said Section 3; thence along the western boundary of the said Section 3, to the south-eastern corner of Rangitoto A Section 46B 2; thence along the southern and western boundaries of the said Section 46B 2 and part Lot 13, Blocks XI and XII, Mangaorongo Survey District, to a public road and across the public road by a right line; thence along the public road in a southerly direction generally to the north-western corner of Section 1, D.P. 11787, Blocks XII and XVI, Mangaorongo Survey District; thence
