Main Highway and along the middle of the Oliver Road; thence easterly generally along Poututu Road to the easternmost corner of Poututu B 5 Block in Block X, Mangatu Survey District, and along a right line to the confluence of the Waingaromia River and the Waipaoa River in Block XII, Mangatu Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the Te Karaka Tribal Committee area; thence southerly generally along that boundary to the point of commencement.

Mangatu Whatatutu Tribal Committee Area

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the eastern side of a road on the production eastwards of the northern boundary of Section 3, Block I, Urutawa East Survey District; thence northerly along the eastern side of that road to the north-western corner of Section 2, Block II, Urutawa East Survey District; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundary of Section 2 aforesaid, to and across a public road to the south-western corner of Section 5, Block VIII, Urutawa Survey District; thence easterly generally along a public road and the north-eastern boundary of Section 3, Block VIII aforesaid, to a point on the western boundary of Section 1, Block V, Otipi Survey District; thence northerly along that boundary to the north-western corner of Section 1 aforesaid; thence north-easterly generally along the north-western boundary of Section 1, Block V, aforesaid and Section 2, Block VI, Otipi Survey District, to and across a road reserve and the Motu River to its right bank; thence down the right bank of the Motu River to its intersection with the northern boundary of Lot 8 on the plan numbered 2480, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Gisborne; thence south-easterly generally along the north-eastern boundaries of Lot 8 aforesaid, Lots 7 and 6 on the plan numbered 2479, deposited as aforesaid, Lot 3 on the plan numbered 2395, deposited as aforesaid, and Lot 2 on the plan numbered 2394, deposited as aforesaid, to the intersection of the last-mentioned boundary with the north-western boundary of Waipaoa 1E Block, situated in Block IV, Arowhana Survey District; thence north-easterly and south-easterly along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Waipaoa 1E Block to the intersection of the last-mentioned boundary with a right line from Trig. Stations 139 and Arowhana; thence north-easterly along that right line to Arowhana Trig. Station; thence along a right line in the direction of Kapua Trig. Station to its intersection with the western boundary of Huiarua No. 3 Block, being a point on the boundary of the Tokomaru Bay Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence southerly and easterly along the western and southern boundaries of that area, and southerly, south-westerly, and westerly generally along the western, north-western, and northern boundaries of the Hauiti and Te Karaka Tribal Committee Areas hereinbefore described, to the junction of Oliver Road and the Motu Front Road in Block XII, Motu Survey District; thence northerly along the middle of the Motu Front Road and the Whakarau Highway, passing through Motu Village, to and along the middle of the road forming the eastern boundaries of Part Section 1 and Section 8, Block IV, Urutawa East Survey District, and Section 2, Block II, Urutawa East Survey District, to a point on the production eastwards of the northern boundary of Section 3, Block I, Urutawa East Survey District; thence easterly along the production of that boundary to the eastern side of the road, being the point of commencement.

Matawai Tribal Committee Area

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of a road on the production eastwards of the northern boundary of Section 3, Block I, Urutawa East Survey District, being a point on the western boundary of the Mangatu Whatatutu Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence southerly and south-easterly generally along the western boundaries of that area and the north-western boundaries of the Te Karaka Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described to the intersection of Rakauroa Tahoma Road and Smart’s Road in Block II, Ngatapa Survey District; thence south-westerly and north-westerly along the middle of that road to the middle of the Koranga Stream, and down the middle of that stream to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Small Grazing-run 89; thence north-westerly to and along that boundary, the northern boundaries of Small Grazing-run 90, Sections 2 and 3, Block XII, Moanui Survey District, Sections 4, 1, and 2, Block IX, Motu Survey District, and Section 2, Block V, Motu Survey District, to Pokaikiri Trig. Station; thence along a right line to Trig. Station 149A; thence along a right line to the northernmost corner of Motu No. 1 Block, Block II, Motu Survey District; thence north-westerly and north-easterly generally along the south-western and north-western boundaries of Whakapaupakihi No. 2 and Sections 23 and 1 of 24, Block II aforesaid, to a point on the southern boundary of Section 3, Block III, Urutawa East Survey District; thence westerly generally along the southern boundary of that section to the right bank of the Pakihi Stream; thence down the said bank of that stream to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 4, Block III aforesaid; thence along a right line across a road reserve to the northernmost corner of Section 4 aforesaid; thence easterly generally along the northern boundary of Sections 4, 6, and 5, Block III aforesaid, to a public road; thence northerly along the western side of that public road and the western boundary of Section 3, Block I, Urutawa East Survey District; thence easterly along the northern boundary of that section and its production to the middle of a public road, being the point of commencement.

Mokonuiarangi Tribal Committee Area

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Koranga Stream in line with the north-western boundary of Small Grazing-run 89, being a point on the south-western boundary of the Matawai Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence south-easterly along the boundaries of

the Matawai and Te Karaka Tribal Committee Areas hereinbefore described to a point in Block XII, Ngatapa Survey District, in the middle of the Wharekopae River on the production of the south-eastern boundary of the Wharekopae Part 2 Block, shown on the plan numbered 1128, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Gisborne; thence south-westerly along that boundary and the south-eastern boundaries of Hangaroa-Matawai B No. 4 Block and B No. 1 Block, the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of a stream, and down the middle of that stream to its confluence with the Hangaroa River, and down the middle of that river to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Small Grazing-run 30; thence to and along the eastern and southern boundaries of that run to the Kawaimango Stream in Block I, Hangaroa Survey District; thence south-westerly up the middle of that stream to the eastern boundary of Lot 21 of Tahoma 2F Section 2 Block; thence northerly along that boundary and the eastern boundary of Lot 24 of Tahoma 2C 1 Section 3 Block; thence westerly along the northern boundaries of Lots 24 and 23 of that block; thence north-westerly and southerly along the north-eastern and western boundaries of Lot 18 of Tahoma 2F Section 2 Block, and the production of the last mentioned boundary to its intersection with a right line between Trig. Stations Puketapu and Maungapohatu; thence north-westerly along that right line to Trig. Station Maungapohatu; thence north-easterly along a right line in the direction of Maungatapere Trig. Station to its intersection with the western boundary of Tahoma Block; thence northerly along that boundary to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Small Grazing-run 89; thence north-easterly along a right line to the point of commencement.

Ngatapa Tribal Committee Area

All that area bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Section 46, Block XVI, Hangaroa Survey District; thence north-westerly, northerly, and north-easterly along the generally eastern side of the road forming the south-western boundaries of the said Section 46, Sections 45, 44, 51, again 44, and 48, all of Block XVI aforesaid, Section 3, Block XII, Hangaroa Survey District, Section 1, part Section 5, Sections 6, 10, 8, Part 3, Part 2, and the southern boundary of Part 21, all of Block VIII, Hangaroa Survey District, and the south-eastern boundary of part Hangaroa-Matawai No. 2C Block; thence south-westerly along the north-western side of the road forming the north-western boundary of Hangaroa Village, and the production of that side to the middle of the Hangaroa River; thence down the middle of that river to a point in line with the generally northern side of the Gisborne–Waikaremoana Road; thence south-westerly along a right line to the northern side of that road; thence westerly generally along the northern side of that road to the south-eastern corner of Small Grazing-run 30, being a point on the boundary of the Mokonuiarangi Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence north-easterly generally along the south-western boundary of that area and of the Te Karaka Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described to the southern corner of Subdivision 1 of Tangihanga No. 1C Block; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern side of the road forming the south-western boundaries of Okahuatiu 1D 2A Block, Sections 1, 2, and 3, Section 6, Block XI, Waikohu Survey District, Sections 1, 3, and 4, Block XV, Waikohu Survey District, and continuing along the north-eastern side of the Ngatapa–Patutahi Road to a point opposite the north-eastern corner of Section 63, Block IV, Patutahi Survey District; thence southerly to and along the eastern boundary of Sections 63 and 62 to the northern side of the Wairoa–Gisborne Main Highway; thence south-westerly along the north-western side of that highway to a point opposite the north-western corner of Section 104, Block VI, Patutahi Survey District; thence south-westerly across that highway, to and along the western side of a public road forming the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 124, Block VI, aforesaid, Section 125, Block X, Patutahi Survey District, Sections 4, 6, and 2, Block IX, Patutahi Survey District, Section 47, Block XVI, Hangaroa Survey District, passing through Whakaongaonga No. 2C Block and forming the south-eastern boundary of Section 46, Block XVI, aforesaid, to the southernmost corner of that section, being the point of commencement.

Waituhi Tribal Committee Area

All that area bounded by a line commencing at the southern corner of subdivision 1 of Tangihanga No. 1C Block, being a point on the boundary of the Te Karaka Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence north-easterly and southerly along the south-western boundary of that area and the western boundaries of the Parihimanahi and Tarere Tribal Committee Areas hereinbefore described to a point in the middle of the Waipaoa River on the western side of the bridge on the Wairoa–Gisborne via Hangaroa Main Highway; thence along the generally northern side of that highway to the easternmost corner of the Ngatapa Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence north-westerly generally along the north-eastern boundary of that area to the southern corner of Subdivision 1 of Tangihanga No. 1C Block, being the point of commencement.

Ohako Tribal Committee Area

All that area bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Section 46, Block XVI, Hangaroa Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the Ngatapa Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence north-easterly, easterly, and southerly generally along the south-eastern boundaries of that area and the southern and eastern boundaries of the Waituhi and Tarere Tribal Committee Areas hereinbefore described to the confluence of the Maraetaha River and the Waipaoa River in Block V, Turanganui Survey District; thence south-westerly up the
