thence south-westerly, southerly, and south-westerly along the
rabbit fence aforesaid to the north bank of the Waitaki River;
thence in a right line to the middle of the Waitaki River; thence
north-westerly and northerly up the middle of the Waitaki River
to the point of commencement. The aforesaid area being more
particularly delineated on the plan marked S.H.D. 88, deposited
in the office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric
Department, and thereon outlined in blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the

PURSUANT to section twenty-nine of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road: 1 acre 3 roods 2 perches.

Being part Section 3, Tangoio Settlement.

Situated in Block I, Tangoio Survey District (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2401.)

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 131000, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedules hereto is hereby taken for a public school and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the third day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fifty.
