A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section twenty-nine of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 2 acres 3 roods 6·4 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Lot 49, being part Reserve 2331, part Reserve 1081, and other part Reserve 2331.
Situated in Block X, Oxford Survey District (Canterbury R.D.).

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 130972, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power (Mareretu Substation).

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 1 acre 18·4 perches.
Being part Allotment 136, Paparoa Parish.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fifty.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section forty-seven of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, together with the benefit of the drainage rights appurtenant thereto, created by Deed of Conveyance No. 306739 (R. 393/243), Auckland Registry, now held for housing purposes, is hereby set apart for Post and Telegraph purposes (line store and garage); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fifty.
