ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, situated in the Tauranga County, bounded by a line commencing at a point, being the south-western corner of Section 10, Block II, Waihi South Survey District, and running north-easterly generally along the southern and eastern boundaries of Section 10 aforesaid and along a right line, being the last-mentioned boundary produced across Old Coach Road to its northern side; thence along the northern side of that road, to and along the western side of Benners Road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 20, Block II, aforesaid; thence along a right line across the aforesaid Benners Road to its eastern side, being the south-western corner of Section 20 aforesaid; thence along the said eastern side of that road to the southern side of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway; thence easterly generally along the said southern side to the western side of Pukehina Station Road; thence southerly generally along the said western side, to and along the north-eastern side of Old Coach Road, and the western side of Rotoehu Road to the northernmost corner of Lot 1 as shown on the plan numbered 11802, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, being part of Section 3, Block VI, Waihi South Survey District; thence along the north-western boundary of the said Lot 1, along the north-western boundaries of Lots 1 and 2 as shown on the plan numbered 21329, deposited as aforesaid, being other parts of Section 3 aforesaid and along a right line, being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the right bank of the Pongakawa River; thence up the said right bank to a point in line with the northern boundary of Lot 1 as shown on the plan numbered 24656, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Sections 9 and 10, Block V, Waihi South Survey District; thence westerly generally along a right line, to and along the northern boundary of Lot 1 aforesaid to the eastern side of the Pongakawa Bush Road; thence northerly generally along the said eastern side to the point of commencement.

Revoking a Licence Authorizing Victor James Meehan, of Waimate, to Use Water for the Purpose of Generating Electricity and to Erect Certain Electric Lines

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and with the consent of the licensee, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council dated the eighteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, and published in the Gazette on the fifth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, at page 3588, authorizing William Black, of Waihao Grange, Waimate, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity and to erect and use certain electric lines, the rights, powers, and privileges under the said Order in Council having been assigned to Victor James Meehan, of Waimate, by an Order in Council dated the twenty-fourth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, and published in the Gazette on the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, at page 630.

Notice of Intention to Issue an Order in Council Revoking the Reservation for Recreation Purposes Over a Reserve in Block IV, Waimea Survey District, Nelson Land District

WHEREAS by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), it is provided that the Governor-General may, from time to time, by Order in Council, revoke the reservation over any public reserve or part thereof, and thereupon the land comprised therein shall, if vested in the Crown or in any local authority, or trustees deriving title from the Crown, become Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1948:

And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for recreation purposes but is not required for that purpose, and it is expedient to revoke the reservation over the said land:

Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby give notice, pursuant to subsection two of section seven of the said Act, that it is my intention to issue an Order in Council under the provisions of subsection one (b) of section seven of the said Act declaring that the reservation for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be revoked.

SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area, situated in Block IV, Waimea Survey District, containing by admeasurement 30·8 perches, more or less, being Lot 7 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Nelson under No. 3610, and being part Section 47, Suburban South. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1211, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 7th day of March, 1950.

Notice of Intention to Issue an Order in Council Revoking the Reservation Over Portion of the Kohukohu Domain, North Auckland Land District

WHEREAS by section forty-one of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), it is provided that the Governor-General may from time to time by Order in Council, but subject to compliance with the requirements of subsection two of section seven of the said Act, declare that the land comprised in a public domain or part thereof shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act; and, further, may declare either that such land shall be a public reserve for the purposes of Part I of the said Act, or Crown land available for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act, 1948:

And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of the Kohukohu Domain but is not required for domain purposes, and it is expedient to revoke the reservation over the said land:

Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby give notice pursuant to subsection two of section seven of the said Act that it is my intention to issue an Order in Council under the provisions of section forty-one of the said Act declaring that the portion of the Kohukohu Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act, and shall be deemed to be Crown land available for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act, 1948.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—PORTION OF KOHUKOHU DOMAIN

SECTIONS 2 and 3, Town of Kohukohu, situated in Block X, Mangamuka Survey District: Area, 1 rood 30 perches, more or less. (North Auckland plan S.O. 39778.)
