Cancelling the Vesting of Part of a Reserve in the Ashburton County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 8th day of March, 1950
Present:
THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of a reserve for a gravel-pit, and is vested in trust in the Ashburton County Council:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Ashburton County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Ashburton County Council of the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 3 roods 36 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve 2095, situated in Block I, Rangitata Survey District (S.O. 8169). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 36/1700A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a site for a public hall: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in Ohai Town Hall Incorporated:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in Ohai Town Hall Incorporated, in trust, for a site for a public hall.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Lot 42, Township of Ohai, D.P. 1934, and being part Section 182, Block III, Wairio Survey District, and being also part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 133; folio 150 (Southland Land Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 25/767, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for drainage works: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Eyre:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Eyre, in trust, for drainage works.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Selwyn Plantation Board, in trust, for plantation purposes.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the North Canterbury Catchment Board, in trust, for river-protection purposes.
