Price Order No. 1129 (Amending Price Order No. 1076) (Apples and Pears)

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:—

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 1129, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 1076* (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).
  2. This Order shall come into force on the 13th day of March, 1950.
  3. The Second Schedule to the principal Order, as set out in Price Order No. 1126†, is hereby revoked, and the following Schedule substituted therefor:—

Price Order No. 1130 (Amendment No. 1 of Price Order Nos. 1058, 1059, 1060, 1061, and 1062) (Milk and Cream)

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:—

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 1130, and shall be read together with and deemed part of each of the Price Orders specified in the Schedule hereto (hereinafter referred to as the principal Orders).
  2. This Order shall come into force on the 13th day of March, 1950.
  3. Each of the principal Orders is hereby amended by revoking subclauses (7) and (8) of clause 5 and substituting in each case the following subclause:—

“(7) Subject to the proviso to subclause (5) of this clause if the price computed in accordance with the foregoing provisions of this Order for any lot of milk or cream supplied at any one time and whether sold for cash or on credit is not an exact number of pence or half-pence, the price of the lot shall be computed to the next upward halfpenny.”
