Proclaiming Under the Stock Act, 1908, a Quarantine-ground for
the Detention of Stock.—(Notice No. Ag. 4822)

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section eighteen of the Stock Act, 1908, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and
the same is hereby set apart and declared to be a quarantine-ground
for stock imported into the said Dominion at the Port of Auckland.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed :—
A. R. P.
46 0 39·8 Part Lot 2, D.P. 12402, being part Motutapu
Island.
0 0 20·2 Part Motutapu Island.
In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 127884, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of March, 1950.

Crown Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1949, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the
Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as provisional State
Forest land.
SCHEDULE
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA CONSERVANCY
ALL those areas in the Gisborne Land District, Wairoa County,
containing by admeasurement 3,300 acres 0 roods 17 perches, more
or less, being Sections 4, 6, and 7, Block IX, and Section 3, Block
XIII, Taramarama Survey District. As the same are more parti-
cularly delineated on plan No. 56/4, deposited in the Head Office
of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 23rd day of February, 1950.

Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1949, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the
Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State
forest land.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—CANTERBURY CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Ashley County,
containing by admeasurement 30 acres 2 roods 31 perches, more
or less, being Reserve 4570, and being also described as part
of Lot 19 on plan No. 1517, deposited in the Land Registry Office
at Christchurch, being part of Rural Section 25546, situated in
Block IX, Mount Thomas Survey District, and being part of the
land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 205,
flio 57 (Canterbury Registry). As the same is more particularly
delineated on plan No. 135/3, deposited in the Head Office of the
New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of February, 1950.

Crown Land in Canterbury Land District Set Apart for the Purpose
of Part I of the Housing Act, 1919

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by
section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Lieutenant-General
Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of
Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same
is hereby set apart for the purpose of Part I of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL those areas situated in Block XIII, Waiau Survey District,
containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood and 21·5 perches, more
or less, being Lots 1 to 5 inclusive, on a plan deposited in the Land
Registry Office, at Christchurch, under No. 14532, and being parts
of Section 35, Annan Settlement. As the same are more parti-
cularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 19201A, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 4th day of March, 1950.
