Notice of Voluntary Winding-up Resolution
Pursuant to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above company, duly convened and held on the 18th day of February, the following special resolution was passed:—
“1. That the company be wound up voluntarily.
“2. That Mr. F. R. FAIREY, of New Plymouth, be and hereby is appointed liquidator of the company.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Housing Improvement Act, 1945, and the Public Works Act, 1928, and their amendments.
Notice is hereby given that the Wanganui City Council proposes, pursuant to the provisions of section 17 of the Housing Improvement Act, 1945, to acquire the lands set out in the Schedule hereto: And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected by the taking of the said lands should if they have any well-founded objections to such taking set forth the same in writing, within forty (40) days of the first publication of this notice, and forward such writing to the Town Clerk, City Council Chambers, St Hill Street, Wanganui.
SCHEDULE
All that piece or parcel of land containing twenty (20) perches, be the same a little more or less, being part Suburban Section 40, Town of Wanganui, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 271, folio 300.

TAURANGA FIRE BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
Notice is hereby given that the Tauranga Fire Board intends to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, for the use of the said Board as a site for a Fire-brigade Station, the following land in the Town of Tauranga:—
(a) Lot 1, Deposited Plan No. 24348, containing one rood thirteen decimal seven perches (1 rood 13·7 perches), being part Allotment 163, Section 1, Town of Tauranga, and being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 723, folio 252, Auckland Registry. The said land will be taken subject to the right-of-way to which it is servient, such right-of-way being as described in Transfer No. 317908, Auckland Registry. The said land is situated in the south-western corner of the junction of Spring Street and Durham Street.
(b) Lot 1 on a new plan of subdivision as approved by the Tauranga Borough Council of Allotments 148, 149, and 150 of Section 1, Town of Tauranga, containing thirty-two decimal five perches (32·5 perches), more or less, as situated at the south-eastern conjunction of Cameron Road and Spring Street in the Borough of Tauranga.
(c) Lot 2 upon a new plan of subdivision as approved by the Tauranga Borough Council of Allotments 148, 149, and 150 of Section 1 of the said Town of Tauranga and containing thirty-two decimal six perches (32·6 perches), more or less, with frontage to Spring Street in the Borough of Tauranga.
(d) Lot 3 upon a new plan of subdivision as approved by the Tauranga Borough Council of Allotments 148, 149, and 150 of Section 1, Town of Tauranga, containing one rood two decimal four perches (1 rood 2·4 perches), more or less, with frontage to Cameron Road in the Borough of Tauranga.
The aforesaid lots (b), (c), and (d) are the lands appearing as Lots 1, 2, and 3 upon Deposited Plan No. 35971 and as comprised in Deposited Plan No. 1388, Auckland Registry, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 74, folio 228, Auckland Registry.
A plan of the aforesaid lands is deposited at the office of the Tauranga Fire Board, care of F. A. Shearman, Secretary of the Board, Public Accountant, Willow Street, Tauranga, and is there open for inspection of all persons at reasonable hours.
All persons affected are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land and to send such writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Tauranga Fire Board at its office address, care of F. A. Shearman, Willow Street, Tauranga.

WOODLANDS RABBIT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Woodlands Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan to be called the “Housing Loan, No. 1, 1949” of one thousand seven hundred and fifty pounds (£1,750), authorized to be raised by the Woodlands Rabbit Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a house for the use of the Board’s employees, the said Woodlands Rabbit Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of thirteen-twentieths of a penny (¹³⁄₂₀d.) per acre of all rateable property of the Woodlands Rabbit District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable by equal half-yearly instalments on the 1st day of March and the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The common seal of the Woodlands Rabbit Board was hereto affixed, this 31st day of January, 1950, in the presence of—
