Crown Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as provisional State forest land.
SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.-NELSON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Waimea County, containing by admeasurement 799 acres, more or less, being Sections 23 and 28, Block X, Tadmor Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 108/76, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of February, 1950.

Revoking the Reservation Over Portion of a Scenic Reserve in Block I, Wakamarina Survey District, Marlborough Land District

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for scenic purposes :
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value thereon :
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT
PART Section 36 and Section 59 (both now known as Section 60), Block I, Wakamarina Survey District : Area, 50 acres 3 roods 23·6 perches, more or less. (S.O. plan 3970.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of February, 1950.

Additional Land at Hastings Taken for the Purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway.

All situated in the Borough of Hastings. (S.O. 2425.)
In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10177, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of February, 1950.

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Foxton-New Plymouth Railway.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of February, 1950.
