Price Order No. 973 (Amending Price Order No. 665)
(Apples and Pears)

Pursuant to the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:—

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 973, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 665* (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).

  2. This Order shall come into force on the 15th day of February, 1949.

  3. The First and Second Schedules to the principal Order, as set out in Price Order No. 970†, are hereby revoked, and the following Schedules substituted therefor:—

Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION

By virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SOUTHLAND CONSERVANCY

All that area in the Southland Land District, Wallace County, containing by admeasurement 425 acres, more or less, and being Section 242, Block XIII, Wairoa Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 201/4, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of February, 1949.
