Members of Domain Boards Appointed

Wellington, 13th December, 1949.
His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased, in
pursuance of section 49 of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, to make the following appointments :—
Robert McFie,
Francis Bush,
Leslie Spence, and
William Daysh
to be members of the Kawhia Domain Board in place of Stephen
Benjamin Sifleet, Trevor Arthur Graham, Godfrey Willie Davies,
and Lewen Ward, resigned.
Francis Theodore Ager
to be a member of the Rangiora Domain Board in place of Herbert
George Parish, resigned.
Gordon Selwood Chapman,
Allan Esplin Hutcheson, and
Albert Edward Benbow
to be members of the Ormondville Domain Board in place of Leo
Vernon Brooks, Annie Douglas Wilson, resigned, and Horace James

Additional Members of Pigeon Bay Domain Board Appointed
Department of Lands and Survey,
Wellington, 13th December, 1949.
His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased, in
pursuance of section 46 of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, to increase the total number of
members of the Pigeon Bay Domain Board from five to seven, and to
appoint
Albert Stanley Kelly, and
Alan Campbell Reynish.
as the additional members thereby rendered necessary.

Lyttelton Milk Delivery Notice 1949, Amendment No. 1
PURSUANT to the Milk Delivery Emergency Regulations 1945,*
the Minister of Marketing doth hereby give notice as follows :—
-
This notice may be cited as the Lyttelton Milk Delivery
Notice 1949, Amendment No. 1 and shall be read together with and
form part of the Lyttelton Milk Delivery Notice 1949† (hereinafter
referred to as the principal notice). -
This notice shall come into force on the Monday following the
publication thereof in the Gazette. -
(1) The Schedule to the principal notice is hereby amended
by revoking paragraph 1 of clause (3) and substituting the following
paragraph :—
Name and Address of Vendor. Area and Consumer.
“ 1. M. J. Bate, Milk Vendor, In Zone No. 1 as marked in yellow
Lyttelton. on the plan in any quantity to
consumers situated anywhere
in the said zone.”
(2) The Schedule to the principal notice is hereby further
amended by adding the following clause :—
“(5) Subject to awards or industrial agreements in force on the
21st day of December, 1949, in the Canterbury Industrial District,
no vendor shall deliver milk to any consumer on any day after eleven
o’clock in the forenoon.”

Gaming Act, 1908—Articles Not to be Disposed of by Lottery
Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 15th December, 1949.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in
me by section 42 of the Gaming Act, 1908, I, William Alexander
Bodkin, Minister of Internal Affairs, hereby notify for public
information that licences to dispose of by way of lottery or chance
shall not be granted in respect of the following articles or classes of
articles :—
Firearms,
Firearm ammunition,
Houses or residential accommodation,
Land,
Motor-vehicles,
Rationed goods and materials,
Intoxicating liquor as defined in the Licensing Act, 1908.
