Arbitration on the recommendation of Industrial Unions of
Employers under sections 65 and 71 of the Industrial Conciliation
and Arbitration Act, 1925, for the residue of the term of Albert

Appointment of an Additional Judge of the Court of Arbitration

provisions of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925,

The Licensing Trusts Act, 1949.-Appointment of Day of First
Election of Members of Geraldine Licensing Trust and of Returning
Officer for the First Election
Pursuant to section 10 of the Licensing Trusts Act, 1949,
I, Thomas Clifton Webb, Minister of Justice for New Zealand,
do hereby appoint Wednesday, the 8th day of February, 1950, as
the day of the first election of members of the Geraldine Licensing
Trust; and further do hereby appoint Clement Leonard Kirby,
Town Clerk of the Borough of Geraldine, to be the Returning Officer
for the Geraldine Licensing Trust District, for the purposes of the
said first election of members.

Appointment of Honorary Fishery Officer
In pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred
upon me by section 29 of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1946, I,
William Stanley Goosman, Minister of Marine, do hereby appoint
Rex Edward Carter
to be an Honorary Fishery Officer for the purposes of Part I of the
Fisheries Act, 1908, to hold office until the 31st day of March, 1950.
