Kaikohe Maori Lands for Sale

Tokeran District Maori Land Board,

NOTICE is hereby given in terms of the Maori Land Act, 1931, and the regulations thereunder, that offers are invited and will be received at the office of the Tokeran District Maori Land Board at Auckland up to 4 o’clock in the afternoon of Thursday, 15th December, 1949, for the purchase of the lands set out in the Schedule hereunder.

SCHEDULE

Lots in plan deposited in the Auckland Land Registry under No. 36638 being parts Taraire 1c 3c and Taraire 1h 2 Blocks. Relative certificate of title subject to section 8 of the Maori Purposes Act, 1943. Acquisitions will be subject to Part XII of the Maori Land Act, 1931. Building-lines will be imposed on certain lots (see particulars and conditions). The lands are building sections in the heart of Kaikohe Borough.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Full particulars of terms and conditions of sale can be obtained at the office of the Board at Auckland and at the office of the Department of Maori Affairs at Kaikohe.

Registerable title not immediately available, but any successful offeror will receive an acceptance intimating date of registerability of transfer. Deposit required with offer at rate of £10 per £100 or part thereof. Decision of Board on acceptance or rejection of any offer shall be final.
