thence westerly generally along the southern boundary of the said Allotment S. 77, along a right line across a public road, to and along the south-western boundary of Allotment 73, along a right line across a public road, to and along the south-western boundaries of Allotments 76, 52, S.E. 55, and N.W. 55, all of the said Whangarei Parish to the western corner of the last-mentioned allotment; thence along a right line to the south-western corner of Allotment 37, Kaitara Parish; thence along another right line to the easternmost corner of Allotment 23, Kaitara Parish; thence along the north-eastern boundary of the said Allotment 23, to and along the north-eastern boundaries of Allotments 22 and 20 of the said parish, and along a right line, being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Patu Wairua Stream; thence down the middle of that stream, to and down the middle of the Mangere Stream, to and up the middle of the Wairua River to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 20, Block II, Purua Survey District; thence along a right line to the south-western corner of Section 20 aforesaid; thence along another right line running in the direction of the south-eastern corner of Section 40, Block IV, Mangakaihia Survey District to its intersection with the south-eastern boundary of a former portion of State forest, described in New Zealand Gazette No. 6 of the 20th day of January, 1921, page 125; thence along another right line to the north-eastern corner of Section 2, Block VII, Mangakahia Survey District; thence along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 2 and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the right bank of the Hikurangi River; thence down the right bank of the said river, to and along the northern boundaries of Pipiwai Nos. 2H 8, 2H 6, 2H 5B, 2H 3, 2H 2, and 2H 1 Blocks to the eastern boundary of Section 5, Block VI, Mangakahia Survey District; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of the said Section 5, to and along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Section 1 of the said Block VI, along the north-eastern and northern boundaries of Kaikou No. 4 Block, to and along the generally eastern boundary of Nukutawhiti Block to the boundary of Whangarei County aforesaid; thence north-easterly generally along the aforesaid county boundary to the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF THE MAUNU RIDING OF THE COUNTY OF WHANGAREI

All that area in the County of Whangarei, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the western boundary of the Whangarei Borough, being the south-eastern corner of Allotment S. 77, Whangarei Parish, and running southerly generally along the aforesaid borough boundary as hereinbefore described, to and up the middle of the Raumanga and Waipunamu Streams to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Tokitaruna and Te Kawa Block; thence along a right line, to and along the south-eastern boundary of the said Block, to and along the north-western and south-western boundaries of Lot 7 as shown on the plan numbered 13347, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, being part of Koreroa Block (High School Endowment), and along the north-western boundary of Ruarangi Block to its south-western corner; thence westerly generally along a right line to the north-western corner of Otara A No. 1 Block; thence south-westerly generally along the western boundary of the aforesaid block and along a right line, being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Otaika Stream; thence up the middle of the said stream, to and up the middle of the Otakairanga Stream, to and along the northern side of the public road forming the northern boundaries of Allotments 86, 85, 84, and 83, Maungatapere Parish to the southern corner of Allotment 75, Maungatapere Parish aforesaid; thence along a right line across the said road, to and along the north-western boundary of the said Allotment 83, the north-western boundary of Allotment 104, crossing an intervening public road to the south-eastern corner of Allotment 152, all the aforesaid allotments being of the said Maungatapere Parish; thence along a right line, to and along the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 107 of the said parish to its westernmost corner; thence along another right line, to and along the north-western boundary of Allotment 136, Maungatapere Parish aforesaid, to and along the north-eastern boundaries of Allotments N. 120 and M. 113 and the north-eastern and northern boundaries of Allotment N. 113, all the aforesaid allotments being of Maungakaramea Parish, and along a right line, being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the right bank of the Waionepu River; thence down the right bank of the said river, to and down the right bank of the Waiotama River to the boundary of the County of Whangarei as hereinbefore described; thence northerly generally along the said county boundary, to and up the right bank of the Wairua River to the boundary of the Wairua Riding; thence easterly generally along the boundary of the said riding as hereinbefore described to the south-eastern corner of Allotment S. 77 aforesaid, being the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF THE MAUNGAKARAMEA RIDING OF THE COUNTY OF WHANGAREI

All that area in the County of Whangarei, bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block XII, Purua Survey District, being the intersection of the middle of the Raumanga Stream with the western boundary of the Borough of Whangarei as hereinbefore described, and running southerly generally along the aforesaid borough boundary, to and along the shores of the Whangarei Harbour, and along the left bank of the Mangapai River and the middle of the Paniriri Stream to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Allotment 2A, Mangapai Parish; thence along a right line, to and along the said north-western boundary, along the north-western boundary of part Allotment 2 of the said parish, crossing the intervening North Auckland Main Trunk Railway, a right line across a public road, to and along the north-western boundary of parts of Allotment 3, and along a right line, being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Tauraroa River; thence down the middle of the said river to the boundary of the County of Whangarei as hereinbefore described; thence northerly generally along the said county boundary, to and along the boundary of the Maunu Riding as hereinbefore described to the aforesaid boundary of the Borough of Whangarei at the point of commencement, including therein Matakoe or Limestone Island in Whangarei Harbour.
