Revocation of Appointment of Certain Garage-proprietors for Issue of Warrants of Fitness
IN terms of Regulation 11 of the Traffic Regulations, 1936, and all other powers enabling me in that behalf, I, Frederick Hackett, Minister of Transport, do hereby revoke the approval of the person and firm described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of the issue of warrants of fitness for motor-vehicles.

Exemption Order Under the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the provisions of clause (1) of Regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors, shall not apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:—
A motor-driver’s licence issued under the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940 to any one of the persons described in Column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorize him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment on a farm or market garden of the respective employer described in Column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorize him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Offer of Bonus for a Method of Exterminating Blackberry Revoked.—(Notice No. Ag. 4803)

THE offer of a bonus for an efficient, practical, and economical method of exterminating blackberry made by the New Zealand Government on the 19th day of November, 1924, and published in the Gazette of the 27th day of the same month at page 2845, is hereby revoked.

Standard Cost of Production of Apples and Pears for the 1949–50 Season
IN accordance with section 15 (2) of the Apple and Pear Marketing Act, 1948, I hereby declare the standard cost of production of apples and pears for the 1949–50 season to be 9s. 7·85d. per case non wrapped.

The Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Notice of Intention to Take Land
THE Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 24 of the Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, hereby gives notice of his intention to take the land described in the Schedule hereto under Part II of the said Act, and specifies the 28th February, 1950, as the date on which possession of the land is required, and the 10th January, 1950, as the date on or before which objections may be made under section 25 of the said Act.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land situated in Blocks X and XIII, Kaihu Survey District, containing by admeasurement one thousand four hundred and eighty-three (1,483) acres two (2) roods twenty (20) perches, more or less, being part of the land on Deposited Plan 22704, being part of Kaihu No. 1 Block and being all of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 747, folio 207 (Auckland Registry), appurtenant thereto being a right-of-way created in and by Transfer No. 49056.
