Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work, and Not Required
for That Purpose to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act,
1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown Land
subject to the Land Act, 1948.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land declared to be Crown
land :—

A. R. P. Being
0 0 28·5 Part Lot 23 and part of Subdivision 1 of Block XI
N, Pipitea Pa, and being also all the land com-
prised and described in Certificate of Title,
Volume 120, folio 281 (Wellington Land Registry).
0 0 22·5 Part Lot 23 and part Subdivision 1 of Block XI
N, Pipitea Pa, and being also all the land com-
prised and described in Certificate of Title,
Volume 115, folio 119 (Wellington Land
Registry).
0 0 10·4 Section 19, Subdivision 2, Pipitea Pa, and being
also all the land comprised and described in
Certificate of Title, Volume 280, folio 216
(Wellington Land Registry).

All situated in the City of Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 22nd day of November, 1949.

Land Taken for a Quarry in the Borough of One Tree Hill

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
a quarry and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses
of the Borough of Otahuhu as from the date hereinafter mentioned,
and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the fifth day of December, one thousand nine hundred
and forty-nine.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 14 acres 25 perches.
Being part Allotment 6A of Section 17, Suburbs of Auckland, and
being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of
Title, Volume 431, folio 184 (Auckland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of November, 1949.

District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
an aerodrome ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall
take effect on and after the fifth day of December, one thousand
nine hundred and forty-nine.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 17 acres 3 roods
19 perches.
Being part Section 14.

Situated in Block VI, East Taieri Survey District (Otago
R.D.). (S.O. 9749.)

In the Otago Land District ; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 130272, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of November, 1949.
