Authorizing the Exchange of Portion of a Reserve in Block II,
Otahuhu Survey District, North Auckland Land District, for
Other Land

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 16th day of
November, 1949

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto
forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for a public
watering-place: And whereas it is expedient that the said land should
be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto,
which the Governor-General deems of equal value and more suitable
for the purposes of the reserve:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by
section eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the land described in the First
Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the land described in the
Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

DESCRIPTION OF PORTION OF RESERVE AUTHORIZED TO BE
EXCHANGED

North Auckland Land District

ALL that area in the Mount Wellington Road District, situated
in Block II, Otahuhu Survey District, containing by admeasurement
3·9 perches, more or less, being part Allotment 49 of Section 1,
Small Lots near the Village of Panmure. As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/3630/33A,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey,
at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North Auckland plan
S.O. 35639.)

SECOND SCHEDULE

DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR

North Auckland Land District

ALL that area in the Mount Wellington Road District, situated
in Block II, Otahuhu Survey District, containing by admeasurement
3·9 perches, more or less, being part of Lot 2, as shown on the plan
numbered 33316, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar
at Auckland, being part Allotments 50, 57, and N. 58 of Section 1,
Small Lots near the Village of Panmure, and being part of the
land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 862,
folio 50 (Auckland Land Registry.) As the same is more particu-
larly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/3630/33A,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey,
at Wellington, and thereon edged green. (North Auckland plan
S.O. 35639.)

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Block III, Town of Fortrose,
Southland Land District

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve
duly set apart for ferry purposes:

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation
over such land shall be changed to a reserve for a public hall site:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and con-
sent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise
of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection
one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of
the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby changed from a reserve for ferry purposes to a reserve for
a public hall site.

SCHEDULE

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood 16·2 perches,
more or less, being Lot 1 on the plan numbered 4052, and deposited
in the office of the District Land Registrar, at Invercargill, and
being part of Section 1, Block III, Town of Fortrose, and being also
part of the land in Certificate of Title, Volume 45, folio 28 (Southland
Land Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked L. and S. 22/3630/84, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
edged blue.

Auckland Land District

reserve duly set apart for a site for a public hall:

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation
over such land shall be changed to a reserve for recreation purposes:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by sub-
section one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose
of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed
from a reserve for a site for a public hall to a reserve for recreation
purposes.

over such land shall be changed to a reserve for recreation purposes:

part of Allotment 115 of Section 10, Suburbs of Auckland. As the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
1/1133, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by sub-

is hereby changed from a reserve for lighthouse purposes to a reserve
