NOTICE is hereby given that SUITWEAR LIMITED has changed its name to MORRISON’S CLOTHES, LIMITED, and that the new name was this day entered on my Register in place of the former name.

Notice of Voluntary Winding-up Resolution
PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that at a meeting of shareholders in the above company, duly convened and held on the 4th day of November, 1949, the following special resolution was duly passed:—
“That the company be wound up voluntarily and that Mr. GEORGE WILLIAM JACK BELL, of Dunedin, Public Accountant be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1928
NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of the District of Wellington requires to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a public work—namely, a public school site.
All persons affected by such taking are hereby required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land and to send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Secretary of the above-mentioned Board at his office at 65 Abel Smith Street, Wellington.
A plan of the said land is open for inspection at the following places: (a) At the office of the said Board at 65 Abel Smith Street, Wellington; (b) At the offices of Messrs. Brandon, Ward, and Hislop, Solicitors, 150–152 Featherston Street, Wellington.
SCHEDULE
THAT piece of land containing one acre two roods thirty-three and seventy-five hundredths perches (1 acre 2 roods 33·75 perches), more or less, being part of Section 6, Porirua District, Block XI, Belmont Survey District.

GOLDEN BAY ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Collingwood Reticulation Loan No. 2, £7,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Golden Bay Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £7,000, authorized to be raised by the Golden Bay Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act, for reticulating that part of the Board’s Area described in the N.Z. Gazette No. 43, dated, 21st June, 1945, page 805, the said Golden Bay Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-half of a penny (½d.) in the pound upon the capital rateable value of all rateable property described in the above-mentioned Gazette notice, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Golden Bay Electric-power Board at a duly constituted meeting on the 9th day of September, 1948.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP
THE partnership hitherto carried on at 515 Dominion Road, Balmoral, by THOMAS ROBINSON and DONALD STANLEY AULICK under the name of “Hendon Manufacturing Company” was dissolved by mutual consent on the 20th day of June, 1948. The business is now carried on under the same name by THOMAS ROBINSON.
