Lieutenant and Quartermaster L. J. Sanders to be Captain
and Quartermaster. Dated 27th January, 1949.

Lieutenant and Quartermaster P. Gowland is granted an
extension of his short-service commission for a further period of
one year as from 15th March, 1949.

Captain B. Kendrick, B.A., from the Reserve of Officers,
Supplementary List, is granted a short-service commission for a
period of three years as from 9th January, 1949, in the rank of
Captain, with seniority from 10th January, 1945, and is appointed
Senior Education Officer, Cadet Wing, the Army School, Trentham.
Dated 9th January, 1949.

Edward Henry Littler Hawkhead, B.A., B.Sc., is granted a
short-service commission for a period of five years as from 12th
January, 1949, in the rank of Lieutenant, with seniority from 1st
July, 1944, next below Lieutenant J. T. Gill, N.Z. Regiment, and
is appointed Education Officer, Cadet Wing, the Army School,

seconded to the Greymouth Technical High School Cadets and
