THE following lists of teachers are issued under the authority of the Minister of Education in accordance with the requirements of the Education Amendment Act, 1924.

The names are arranged in two lists as follows :—

(1) Additions to the Register or amendments in grading as a result of correction or change of status.

(2) Post-primary classification.

Price Order No 1086 (Amendment No. 1 of Price Order No. 1070) (Flat Paper)

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order :—

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 1086, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 1070* (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).

  2. This Order shall come into force on the 31st day of October, 1949.

  3. The Schedule to the principal Order is hereby amended by omitting subparagraphs (a), (b), and (c) of paragraph (2) and substituting the following subparagraphs :—

Per Cent.

“ (a) 3 tons or less of one grade .. .. .. 10
“ (b) More than 3 tons but not more than 5 tons .. 7½
“ (c) More than 5 tons .. .. .. 6¼ ”

Price Order No. 1087 Amendment No. 1 of Price Order No. 1046 (Office Equipment)

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order :—

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 1087, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 1046* (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).

  2. This Order shall come into force on the 31st day of October, 1949.

  3. The First Schedule to the principal Order is hereby amended as follows :—

(a) By omitting the references to office furniture.

(b) By inserting after the words “ Filing cabinets,” the words “ where made of metal ”.

Dated at Wellington, this 26th day of October, 1949.
