Additional Land Near Waikohu Taken for the Purposes of the Gisborne-Rotorua Railway

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Gisborne-Rotorua Railway.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 2 roods.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 3748, and being also part Waikohu Block, Block III, Waikohu Survey District.
Situated in Waikohu County. (S.O. 4571.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10038, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of October, 1949.

Additional Land at Marton Taken for a Street-diversion in Connection with the Foxton – New Plymouth Railway

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a street-diversion in connection with the Foxton – New Plymouth Railway.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken for street-diversion: 1·87 perches.
Being part Lot 15, Block XXXI, D.P. 2149, being part Block VII, Rangitikei District.
Situated in Block III, Rangitoto Survey District, Borough of Marton. (S.O. 21950.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10046, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of October, 1949.

Declaring Portions of Railway Land near Kakahi to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948.
