At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of
October, 1949

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section thirty-one of the Municipal Corporations
Amendment Act, 1948, and section one hundred and twenty-
five of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby authorize the Richmond Borough Council to permit
the laying-off of the proposed streets first, secondly, and thirdly
described in the Schedule hereto, at a width for the whole of their
respective lengths of less than sixty-six feet but not less than fifty
feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the proposed
street first described in the said Schedule, or on Lot 28, Deposited
Plan 3998, and the land edged green on the plan marked P.W.D.
130019, referred to in the said Schedule, fronting the north-eastern
side of the proposed street secondly described in the said Schedule,
or on Lot 17, Deposited Plan 3998, and the land edged green on
the said plan marked P.W.D. 130019, fronting the proposed street
thirdly described in the said Schedule, within a distance of
forty-eight feet from the centre-lines of the said streets.

mond, to be known as Fauchelle Avenue, containing by admeasure-
ment 3 roods 25·5 perches, more or less, being part of Sections 80 and
82, Waimea East.

Also that proposed street in the said Land District and Borough,
being an extension of Florence Street, containing by admeasurement
1 rood 31·7 perches, more or less, being part of Section 82, Waimea
East.

Also that proposed street in the said Land District and Borough,
being an extension of D’Arcy Street, containing 1 rood 31·7 perches,
more or less, being part of Section 80, Waimea East.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 130019, deposited in the office of the Minister of
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the
Schedule hereto being taken for the purpose of sports-grounds.

consent to the Raglan County Council stopping the portion of road
described in the Schedule hereto.

pounds (£1,250) under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926 (here-
inafter called the said Act), to be known as “ Streets Improvement
Loan, 1949 ” and “ Municipal Buildings (Site) Loan, 1949 ”
