A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road-diversion in connection with the South Island Main Trunk Railway (North End) (Kaikoura Section).

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 7.28 perches.

Being part Lot 1, D.P. 879, being part Section 263, Kaikoura Suburban.

Situated in Block X, Mount Fyffe Survey District (Marlborough R.D.). (S.O. 3800.)

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the fourteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 43 of the twenty-first day of the same month at page 1507, taking land for road-diversions in connection with portions of the South Island Main Trunk Railway (North End) (Kaikoura Section), in so far as it affects the piece of land described in the Schedule thereto as comprising an area of approximately 7.28 perches, being part Lot 15, D.P. 1331, being part Section 263, Kaikoura Suburban.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of October, 1949.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the twenty-fourth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, and published in Gazette No. 33 of the second day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, at page 1288, taking land for a public works depot in the City of Hamilton.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section forty-seven of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto now held for better utilization is hereby set apart for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart : 3 acres 3 roods 24-36 perches.

Being parts of Subdivisions 13, 14, and 14A of Section 58 of the Hutt District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 437, folio 244 (Wellington Land Registry).
