A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 0 roods 22·07 perches.

Being part Lot 12, Deposited Plan 3732, being part Section 46, Block VII, Town District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 230, folio 247 (Otago Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of October, 1949.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for workers’ dwellings and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Castlepoint as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purpose of sports-grounds and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Hastings as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.
