Additional Land Taken for a Gravel-pit in the City of Palmerston North

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a gravel-pit; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section thirty of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1945, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for better utilization; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 19·94 perches.
Being Lot 2, D.P. 19195, being part Allotment 7, Section 9, Suburbs of Auckland, situated in the City of Auckland, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 912, folio 174 (Auckland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of October, 1949.
