Territorial Force—

Temp. Lieutenant-Colonel G. P. Hanna, O.B.E., 1st Field Regiment, R.N.Z.A., to be Lieutenant-Colonel, with seniority from 1st May, 1945, and is appointed C.O., 1st Field Regiment, R.N.Z.A. Dated 22nd August, 1949.

Captain C. W. G. Paterson ceases to be posted to the 5th Anti-Tank Regiment, R.N.Z.A., and is posted to the 3rd Field Regiment, R.N.Z.A., with the rank of Captain, with seniority from 27th April, 1945. Dated 16th August, 1949.

Temp. Lieutenant S. Patrick, from the Reserve of Officers, Supplementary List, to be Lieutenant, with seniority from 29th December, 1947, and is posted to the 15th Composite Anti-Aircraft Regiment, R.N.Z.A. Dated 1st December, 1948.

Temp. Lieutenant P. W. D. Parr, 3rd Field Regiment, R.N.Z.A., resigns his commission. Dated 9th August, 1949.

The Waikato Regiment (disbanded)—

2nd Lieutenant (temp. Captain) N. C. Rowe, is posted to the Retired List with the rank of Captain. Dated 2nd September, 1949.

The Otago and Southland Regiment—

William Lancelot McLean to be 2nd Lieutenant (on prob.) and is seconded to the South Otago High School Cadets, Area 12. Dated 14th February, 1949.

THE ROYAL N.Z. ARMY MEDICAL CORPS

Territorial Force—

The appointment of Brigadier W. H. B. Bull, O.B.E., E.D., M.B., Ch.B., F.R.C.S. (Edin.), K.H.S., has been changed from “Director-General of Medical Services (Army and Air)” to “Director-General of Medical Services (Army).” Dated 1st September, 1949.

Temp. Colonel D. G. Radcliffe, O.B.E., M.B., Ch.B. (Sydney), F.R.C.S. (Eng.), M.R.C.P. (Lond.), M.S. (Melb.), to be Colonel, with seniority from 1st October, 1948. Dated 9th September, 1949.

Lieutenant (temp. Major) N. C. Begg, M.B., Ch.B., from the Reserve of Officers, Supplementary List, to be Major, with seniority from 30th August, 1947, and is posted to the Otago University Medical Company. Dated 1st December, 1948.

“Lieutenant-Colonel G. P. Hanna, O.B.E., and is posted to the non-mobilized strength of the 1st Field Regiment, N.Z.A., with the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, with seniority from 1st May, 1945. Dated 26th October, 1945.”
