Fixing the Date and Places for Payment of Social Security Charge Payable by Companies

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of September, 1949
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority vested in him under the Social Security Act, 1938, and the Social Security Contribution (Companies) Regulations 1943, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and determine that the social security charge payable by any company on its chargeable income for the income year ended on the 31st day of March, 1949, shall be paid in one sum on Thursday, the second day of February, one thousand nine hundred and fifty.
And, in further pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority aforesaid, and with the like advice and consent as aforesaid, His Excellency doth also determine that the said social security charge shall be payable at any office of the Land and Income Tax Department or at any money-order post-office, and that notice to the foregoing effect shall be given by the Commissioner of Taxes accordingly.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority vested in him under the Land and Income Tax Act, 1923, and the Land and Income Tax (Annual) Act, 1949, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and determine that the respective duties leviable under the said Acts by way of land-tax and income-tax shall be paid on the days and dates set forth hereunder:-
Land-tax (payable by companies) under section two of the Land and Income Tax (Annual) Act, 1949: In one sum on Friday, the seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.
Land-tax (payable by taxpayers other than companies) under section two of the Land and Income Tax (Annual) Act, 1949: In one sum on Monday, the sixteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and fifty.
Income-tax under section three of the Land and Income Tax (Annual) Act, 1949: In one sum on Thursday, the ninth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and fifty.
And, in further pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority aforesaid, and with the like advice and consent as aforesaid, His Excellency doth also determine that the said duties of land-tax and income-tax shall be payable at any office of the Land and Income Tax Department or at any money-order post-office and that notice to the foregoing effect shall be given by the Commissioner of Taxes accordingly.

Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Opotoki and Waioeka Domain

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Scott Drummond Abbot, William Alexander Gault, Frank Appleton, John Thomas Clark, Robson Anthony Hedley, Arthur John McCallion, and George Septimus Moody to be the Opotiki and Waioeka Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the eighteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the office of Mr. T. Braae, Main Street, Opotiki, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Henry Heinisch, Charles Henry Tallott, Arthur Ashley Ryde, Geoffrey Mervyn Wheeler, Francis Seth Kingsbury, Richard Gillespie, and Lawrence George Cowens to be the Cust Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, at half past seven o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Cust Public Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint William Stuart Boyes, Noel Parsons, Ian Kenneth Lankshear, William Norman West, William Bradley Lauder, William Henry John Dance, John Gordon Blackburn, Sydney Marshall, and William Francis McClinchie to be the Paholia Beach Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the nineteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Scout Hut, Esdailes Road, Paholia, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
